Hi Woofers!
It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!
Wot a Yucky Sunday it's been! I mean, just as we got up we could hear the tap, tap, tap of the rain against the window! Both Holly and I snuggled down even further into the duvet that was still warm from where Old Two Legs was sleeping!
That's one of the good things about OTL getting up, a warm spot on the bed!
It's always a race between Holly and I to get up onto the bed and find the warm spot first!
Both OTL and The Missus were up early and you know what? Just as we were having our second snooze, they both crept out of the house and disappeared down the road in the small car!
After about forty five minutes, OTL came back and told us that TL was off to a 'Demonstration' for the day, you know, 'Glue Slapping for Beginners'!
Well, when OTL got back, the rain had eased off a bit but it wasn't dry. So, out came our rain coats and soon we were all wrapped up ready for a 'Damp Walk'!
The ferrets came as well and Mr Brambles was getting excited 'cos he hasn't been out for a couple of days!
Down on the Sea Wall we didn't hang about too much 'cos it was rather windy and as it was still raining, the wind was blowing the rain up the back of our coats!
What was worse, OTL left the camera in the car, so no photos, and, he got damp trousers at the back on the way out and damp trousers in the front on the way back!
A Damp and Soggy OTL!
We all got dried off with our Doggy Towel when we got back to the car, well, everyone got a rub down and when it was OTL's turn, the towel was wetter than OTL, so he went home damp and soggy!
Loads of stuff to do at home and Holly and I enjoyed a big bowl of Ox Heart while the ferrets were having some house cleaning done and when we had finished they were allowed out to raid our biscuit bowl!
Lunch time it was just a fine misty sort of rain and providing we kept moving, we didn't get too wet!
This afternoon was spent catching up with our snoozing, including OTL!
The Old Duffer was in need of a snooze to catch up with his sleep, all these early mornings is taking the 'Get Up and Go' out of OTL!
Holly reckons it's his age!
Not sure what he has for dinner tonight but you can bet we will share it with him!
See you tomorrow, the caravan is off for it's yearly service before we go away on holiday!

Shame the weather was so yukky down there but at least you had a good warm up before you went in OTL's space on the bed. Glad Mr Brambles is back out with you, I bet he missed his walks. Good to hear you got your noses in the scoff bowls before those ferrets came mugging for biscuits. It's good to have a nice siesta, I like my siestas. I bet TM is encouraging those people at the demonstration to splash their cash, hope she had a good day. You're so good sharing OTL's scoff with him, I hope he appreciates it. ReplyDeleteYour weather wasn't as nice as our French weather and I am left wondering if OTL has an OTL towel to dry himself off. Hope TM didn't get too wet with her Glue Slapping for beginners, hope she took a big plastic mac. Did she bring you a nice present for slipping out of the house while you slept in the warm spot, they are sneaky sometimes, you must try hiding the keys that should be fun. xxxx
