Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!
Today is the last day we are on site and it's fun watching everyone getting packed up and head off home so that they will be in time for work tomorrow!
Us, on the other paw, are leaving tomorrow when it is a bit quieter and not so many caravan heading for the exit at one time!
Holly and I left them to fight over the exit and went off for our morning walk.
There we were, just sniffing the sniffs and having a peaceful time when from behind us we heard 'Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
We turned around to see this ball of fur and ears come tearing across the field in our direction!
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! |
Holly said we should keep an eye on the big one 'cos it looks like it could eat us all with one bite!
This little squirt of a woofer was all playful and yappy and we told her to watch out for the big hound!
'Watch Out For Him?'
And with that she rushed back calling out 'Hey Shamus!'
Then, she made a jump at the hounds ears! He was a bit too quick for her and he turned his head and caught her in midair and then plonked her down on her back but still kept hold of her around her tummy!
Oh Gawd says Holly, he's going to eat her!
Stop Yer Tickling Shamus! |
He's Family! |
We heard another woof and a sheep dog came bounding over wit a ball it it's mouth.
'Hey! Wanna Play Ball?'
Hey! If you catch me I'll let you carry the ball! |
We headed back to the caravan so that Old Two Legs can get the ferrets out for their walk and we can have our breakfast of chicken!
All getting ready to go! |
TM was plonking away on her computer and promising to 'Get another card done this afternoon so you lot can clear off!'
She can get so bossy sometimes!
We went out to get some fuel for the car and the journey home and on the way back we stopped at the Roman Amphitheatre. To be honest, it looked like a load of earth had been piled up to make seats around a flattish area in the centre. OTL was showing off describing the places where everyone sat and how the players would entrance right and exit stage left!
He also said that the acoustics were supposed to be so good that you could hear a whisper from the stage.
There were a couple of Two Legs, sitting on the grass, on top of the seating area, so OTL said, in a loud whisper, 'Friends, Romans and Countrymen, buy us a beer!
No one moved, no one looked like they had heard him! OTL was disappointed.
OTL said that the acoustics had 'Worn Down a Bit' since the Roman Days!
Back we went to find TM working away on her 'Artist Trading Cards', OTL said that ATC in his book was Air Traffic Control and none of the cards would fly more than a couple of metres!
Still, she tries!
So, that's it for today, we plan an early night tonight, so that means OTL will be restricted to just one slurp of Single Malt while we will get just one bit of Shortbread!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
I'm glad to hear the rabble has gone, at least it gives you a night in peace. Wow, what a funny little hairball woofer. I like big dogs as long as they don't knock me flying when they chase me, my friends Storm and Freddie are very good at not hurting me when we play, although Freddie did knock my mums herb garden flying the other year when he stayed while his family went on holiday. It's very easy to boss those big bozos around when you're a small woofer. I wonder what Shamus would have made of Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles. My woofer mum was a king Charles. Cor, wouldn't OTL have been surprised if one of those TL's had bought him a beer. My mum says you should go to one of your TM's workshops and see how the ladies are when she tries to get bossy, they can handle her, you need some tips. Hope OTL enjoys his little snifter tonight and you enjoy the shortbread, has TM got any bolly left so she can have a little tipple to finish off her holiday. I bet all your mates at home are waiting for you to get back and tell them of your adventures with the yakky dars, the black sea monster and the nelly fish. Hope you all have a good safe journey back home tomorrow. Enjoy your last evening, Love, licks and wags from little Arch xxxx
ReplyDeleteWow that big dog was.......... well......... big, I don't think the ferrets would have stood a chance especially as they aren't family. I think those people heard OTL and pretended not to hear his plea for a beer, your description of an Amphitheatre was spot on although I don't suppose the National Trust would use your exact words in their leaflet!! xxxx
