It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
It has been another of those 'Boring Days', that is when Old Two Legs gets all busy and looks serious while we get some snoozing done!
This morning we were out with the ferrets, as normal, except that OTL brought his camera with him but forgot to switch it off Black & White!
Mr Brambles reckons that it suits him down to the ground 'cos as he says, 'I'm and Old Fashion Ferret at Heart'!

Don't laugh, Poo is a very interesting subject for us woofers! Now, the other day we heard that Hamish had a Grumbly Tum from sniffing Green Sheep Poo!
We stay away from Green Poo, one time Mr Brambles was unwell and managed to produce Green Poo that was almost Luminous!
And didn't it Pong!
Mind you, when you know that a ferret is from the same family as a Skunk, that gives you a warning!
Also, the ferrets have the ability to let go a real stinker if they feel threatened. We remember when Miss Twinkle came to live with us for a few days while OTL found her owner. Well, she was about a year old and a little scared of being in a new home and when OTL let her and Brambles and Snowflake out for a run around the office, she got all worried and let one go that almost brought tears to OTL's eyes!
Let's hope that Hamish gets rid of the Green Grumblies soon and is back to rolling in sniffs!
Back to today, and at lunch time the rain had stopped and the sunshine had come out.
Down on the beach the tide was right in and it was warm, so I sort of suggested to Holly that we might just have a little paddle in the sea, she on the other paw, said that she was going to keep her paws dry!

Well, actually it was a swim and I took a stick out with me, just in case I got told off 'cos I could say I was rescuing a stick from drowning!

OTL went back to 'Manufacturing' and Holly retired to the sofa to sleep 'cos she said she wasn't feeling too good, another Grumbly Tum?
Let's hope it's not the Green Grumblies!

I love those pictures taken this morning, very stylish. Mr Brambles is quite clearly enjoying his roll in a good sniff. I'm with you on poo being an interesting subject, I have done golden poo, eating a crunchie wrapper ........ you should have seen my mums face, she thought I was pooing gold nuggets. I must admit, I've not done a green one yet, which my mum is amazed at since I eat lots of weed leaves. I do hope Holly hasn't got the green grumblies, I've heard that the green grumblies are very stinky. Mind I think the sheep get green poo from eating lots of grass, bit like the cow pats. Now cows are very windy, probably because of the greenish poo they do, now imagine OTL being down wind of one of those when it's let go .......... Twinkle probably had nothing on them. This afternoons pictures are lovely, glad you managed to get a dip in. I wonder where that stick went? Tell Holly to get some good snoozes in and I hope her tum feels better soon. Have a good evening and make sure if you go up the stairs, Holly goes up behind you. Love, licks and wags from little Arch xxxx
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of Old Fashioned Ferret. All this talk of grumbles and green poo, it is a good job it isn't dinner time, in future I shall watch out for woofers who are a bit on the green side and as for ferrets, well....! OTL still manufacturing, good for him don't forget he has until Wednesday when the good weather is supposed to be returning and then it is adventures all the way. We took our Daisy to Leeds Castle today, lovely and warm, in fact I wore my winter coat over my winter fleece. She has a new doll called Carla who connects to the internet thingy, you ask Carla questions and she gives you the answer. She is so clever, Daisy's Dad asked her "What is the meaning of life" and she said she wasn't that clever and didn't know! Now ask her what the population of South Africa is and you learn all about South Africa, how clever is that? You have managed a bit of swimming and a lot of snoozing today, I do hope Holly isn't going to come down with the grumbles for the nice weather, it would be just like her and OTL is not trying to earn money to give to the Vet man who has enough anyway, you give her a good woofing to, keep her out of trouble. xxxx
ReplyDeleteYour OTL can sure take wonderful photos. The ones of Mr Brambles rolling are really beautiful. I like your idea to always take a dip with a stick, Daisy. What a great plan to trick OTL. I'll have to remember that when I swim in the sea. Hamish doesn't like water but I love it. I'm pleased to say that his Green grumbly tum has recovered and Dad celebrated by giving him a shower which was not very kind. I didn't need one yet but mum's said I'll be getting one at the weekend because we are going away in the caravan next week and I always sneak onto the bed after lights out. Mind you I don't make smells like those ferrets. No wonder TM took so much air freshener when you went away in your caravan. I hope OTL finishes his manufacturing soon so that you get more playtime tomorrow. Best doggie wishes, Izzy x
