Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!
Wot a Muggy Day it has been. We got up late because The Missus over slept. She blamed us because were 'Fidgeting' and kept her awake!
Us? Fidget? Never!
It was all her fault, talking in her sleep, bouncing up and down on the bed and calling out 'It's Behind You!'
Gawd knows what the dream was about, nothing to do with 'Crafting' I'm sure!
Of course, all that noise kept the ferrets awake as well, so they were late getting up as well!
Today they had their normal Lactose Free Milk and slurped it down as though they hadn't had it for years!
You see, TM forgot to get the milk when she did the shopping and Old Two Legs had to get some Soya Milk from the Co-op 'cos they had run out of Lactose Free Milk.
The ferrets were not happy, neither of them drank it, in fact, Mr Brambles kicked both bowls of Soya milk across the office and stomped off in disgust!
Today OTL had got their proper milk, so he was in their 'Good Book' today!
Down on the beach Bro Brambles found his favourite rock again 'cos the tide had gone out!

Then off for a snooze while OTL went out delivering.
Come lunchtime we were back down the beach and this time OTL was looking for insects on the plants.
First he found a Buff Tailed Bumblebee buzzing around the flowers.

Now, you will be interested to know that they spend almost all of their time in the ground, except at mating time, and that is the only time OTL ever sees them.
And you can guess what they are doing!

Glad that TM of yours decided to sleep in a bit, they do make some noises while they're asleep don't they and fidget, well, it's a wonder us woofers get any snoozing in. Glad to hear the ferrets got decent milk today, maybe you and Holly should follow Bro's example and kick your dishes across the kitchen if anyone dares to put yukky scoff in it. Good to hear you scoff was up to standard today. Bro really needs to have a chat with OTL about taking his rock home and bringing it back when he goes down to the beach, that way the tide can't hide it. Lovely flowers and insects today. Good to hear that you are having a nice lazy afternoon. Happy muggings later girls. I'm not a happy bunny at the moment, my mum shoved a worming pill down my throat a little while ago, now I wonder how she would like it if I did it to her. ReplyDeleteIs having four ferrets instead of two any different apart from the extra work and food? Still glad he is the sort of TL who researches things before jumping straight in, they say "A dog isn't just for Christmas" and it goes also that "Four ferrets are not just for Summer"! We are getting a lot of nature shots now, your Diary readers are going to be anthologists at this rate. Lovely see the pictures, I did laugh at the thought of Mr Brambles kicking the milk bowls about in disgust and agree with Archies' mum that you and Holly should take a leaf from his book and kick your bowls around when the contents don't please you. That should sort these TL's out good and proper plus a couple of worming pills!! xxxx
