It's Friday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

Another super day, it wasn't too hot last night so we all got a good sleep!

Even the ferrets were late in getting up!

Old Two Legs got their breakfast and his and went up to the office. Now up there OTL has a machine for shredding bits of paper he has finished with and doesn't want to just throw into the bin.

Today it was full to overflowing and he emptied the shredded paper into a plastic bag and put that under the desk. Forgetting that ferrets like to have a 'Ferret around' anything new in the room!

Yep! You guessed it, the pair of the were rolling about in it and then they started to kick it all over the place and in the end there was more on the office floor than in the rubbish bag!

OTL said he couldn't get too upset 'cos it was so funny watching the ferrets enjoy themselves in the shredded paper!

Down on the beach we found a used Bar B Q tray that someone had left on the sand, no food, just the empty tray!

OK, where's the food?
OTL was clicking away at the insects on the plants and came across this Buff Tailed Bumblebee!

Buzzy Buzzy!
Back in the car, Bramble had a drink from our water bowl but Snowflake would only drink from the ferret bottle!

Glug, Glug, Licky, Licky, Slurp, Slurp!
It took OTL ages to clear up all the shredded paper but in the end he went back to 'Real Work' while us woofer went back to snoozing!

Lunchtime was fun, it was too rough to go in swimming but we saw a fisherman on the beach who not only had caught no fish but he had run out of worms and was taking apart his sandwiches to put on the hook!

Wot a waste of sarnies!
We left him to it and carried on looking for a place to swim but all the way down the sea wall it was splashing so much that even I reckon it was not swimming weather!

Too Splashy!
Up on the grass path, OTL found that Soldier Beetle again and we asked him what he was hanging about for. 'Well' says the Soldier Beetle, 'I'm waiting for the women!'

It's breeding time!
So, we left him to it and headed for home where the sun had moved away from the back garden, so it was nice and cool, just right for snoozing!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

  1. I bet the ferrets had a lovely time rolling in and out of all that paper. Lazy TL's leaving their bbq tray behind, you wouldn't mind if they left a bit of steak in it. Wot a waste of a good sarnie, trying to teach it how to swim!!! Everyone knows that sarnies don't swim, I'm not sure worms do either. Shame the waves were too rough for a dip. I've only been venturing out to do the odd patrol, a wee and read my paper, other than that I'm hiding indoors where it's a bit cooler. Me and my mum slept downstairs last night, it was a tad cooler but not cool enough for a decent snooze. Love OTL's pictures today, specially the ones of you and Holly, my pin up girlies. Happy muggings tonight and let's hope we get a bit or rain to make it a bit cooler tonight. Love, licks and wags from little (melting) Arch xxxx

  2. Pity you could not swim today after yesterdays dip but an exciting day nevertheless, a fine story of a day but no food for a quick nibble. I bet the soldier beetle found some tasty morsels on those leaves, I do agree with you that a leaf is not as interesting as a sarnie, one day maybe a kind sole will take pity on you. Perhaps you don't look hungry enough! Will you get a chance on Saturday for a little sample of cake, perhaps you can persuade OTL to call by the village hall, get your timing right and practice the hungry, lonely look, those ladies are bound to be a push over!!! xxxx
