A visit to the vet!

Hello Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Mr Brambles, Miss April and Miss May!

Wot rotten weather today! Down here it was raining when we went out for our morning run and it has been raining on and off all day!

We were woken up at three thirty this morning to the sounds of Miss Snowflake telling Miss May that she shouldn't dive under the cushion when there are two ferrets trying to sleep on top of the cushion!

Other than the normal 'Fear Fart' that goes to prove they have Skunks as relatives!, All was OK and it settled down again!

That was until Old Two Legs put his hand in the cage to put a new cushion in to replace the one with poo on it, that Miss May decided to give OTL a reminder that she was still there!

More blood and a gallon of TCP later, all was safe enough for us all to go back to bed!

We had our run this morning, dodging the rain drops, when we got to the Rabbit Ground they had all gone back to bed!

Not a Rabbit to be seen!

On the beach we didn't hang about too long 'cos the rain drops were getting bigger and we didn't know how long it would be before they all joined up to make 'Heavy Rain'!

Mr Brambles was trying to get Holly to call him Bro Brambles again, she didn't but at one time she got all embarrassed and flustered when he commented on her hair cut!

You look dead smart in your new hair cut Sis!

Back home to some chicken, which was rather tasty today, complements to the Chef!

OTL, always the optimistic one, has started to train the ferrets already. Calling them to come when he calls and claps his hands, reward is a slurp of Ferretone!

He also fitted April with her harness that arrived in the post yesterday!

I don't know if I like this, even if there is some Ferretone afterwards!

Our lunchtime walk was a little blowy, but at least no rain! The waves were crashing in,so, I decided that today was not a good day for a swim!

Too rough today!

 Of course, there were the fishermen but they hadn't caught anything, not even a cold!

No fish today!

We were back by two 'cos the ferrets were off to the vets but before OTL collected them we spotted May creep into Snowflakes sleeping bag, while she was asleep!

Getting brave or wot!

A little Snuggle!

It's so sweet that May wants to be accepted and join the group, she is trying all of the tricks she can think of. At the moment Brambles has let her sleep with him all cuddled up and except for one or two upsets caused by mistakes, May is getting friendlier with Snowflake.

April is another subject!

When she is allowed out with her sister for a 'Rampage' around the house, she starts off by trying to get in Snowy Heights where she knows Brambles and Snowflake are!

Once over that she and May go chasing about all over the place. They have both conquered the stairs and also found the food bowl containing the biscuits that Brambles loves!

Funny thing is, neither of them bothered to even have a nibble!

So, down the vets and this time there was a locum standing in for the normal vets who are away on holiday at the moment. OTL explained that to the girls and they agreed not to bite the locum, this time!

After that they had to be nice to OTL 'cos he was crying again as he paid the invoice!

Back home and May has tried to get back in bed with Snowflake but got scared at the last moment, so she headed up stairs to another bed in the play room.

Tomorrow we are expecting loads of children to arrive for a visit, some will want to see the ferrets and some will want to see us and afterwards, if it's not raining, we may head off to the beach!
