Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Mr Brambles, Miss April and Miss May here!
What a super day today, loads of sun and some balmy breezes and holes to dig and I show off my latest Pilates position!
First thing this morning Old Two Legs enjoyed his breakfast with Snowflake and Brambles, as normal and he also put a bowl of milk in for May and April.
As soon as they had slurped the milk down, Brambles and Snowflake then set about winding up April and May by climbing on top of the cage and telling April and May that they were highly trained ferrets from the SFS! (Special Ferret Service)!

Down on the beach Holly and I had a great time digging holes and at one point I was so busy selecting a hole digging spot that I didn't see Young Dave creep up behind me!

Back home we had Lambs Heart and crashed out on the sofa while OTL did the ferret cage and the ferrets took turns in 'Rampaging' around the house!
April and May played their game of 'Hide The Biscuit' but this time they were pinching dog biscuits from the the pile they had built up over the last few days!
Lunchtime it was The Page 3 Girls turn to go out and have a walk along the beach.
The tide was coming in but it wouldn't be deep enough to swim in for at least thirty minutes, so Holly and I set about the holes we started this morning.
Young April wanted to join in the fun but we were not having any of that and told her to Woof Off!

OTL got a telephone call to say that the second bit of the new cage will take about ten days to deliver and it is coming all the way from Italy which OTL says is a long way away!
We have not decided yet what to call the new cage so we are looking for suggestions.
Brambles has suggested we call it Azkaban and should surround it with Floaty Guards to keep the girls under control!

So pleased the weather has been better for you today. I liked the picture of Snowflake and Brambles telling the newbies who's in charge. Sounds like lots of fun on the beach this morning, love your new pilates move, and look at that Holly flying! Poor little Brambles, he only wants to help you dig holes. Your brekkie sounds yummy. Shame the tide wasn't in when you were down on the beach. That April is such a little whispering grass. She'll soon learn not to tell tales on you. My goodness, that sounds like a long way for a cage to come, is that anywhere near the other side of the river to you? I can see why little Brambles thought up that name for the new house, what about Maypril Mansions? Or Naughty Towers ........... hmmm I think there will be lots of suggestions for a new name. I've got to go off to the vets tomorrow morning, I've been a bit itchy lately so the vet has got some new tablets in that might stop me itching so much and I've got to go back to my strict diet again .......... yuk. I don't mind going for cuddles but this tablet stuff is a bit boring, I don't like taking tablets. Still there might be an extra treat in it to help it go down. ReplyDeleteLove those pictures today, Holly really does fly and as for your new pilates move, well I have never seen such a move before, you will be famous. Today in the free newspaper was an article about Chris the ferret who was found in Brewers Street, Maidstone before New year, he has two ferret friends from Harrietsham Rescue called Minnie and Winter. How about that!
ReplyDeleteLots of holes to dig today, you were a bit mean not to let Miss April join in, I thought the idea was for you to become friends with them! Italy is a long, long way for a cage to come, our kitchen cupboard doors came from Italy, we will be almost related.
As for a name for the new home, I still think Calendar Mansion is a good idea. xxxxxx
