It's us, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Mr Brambles, Miss April and Miss May here again!
I don't know what it has been like where you are but here it has been very hot today!
Even first thing this morning it was warm and getting warmer!
We waved good bye to The Missus as she headed off to Birmingham then Snowflake, Brambles, Holly, me and Old Two Legs headed for the beach!
Miss Snowflake didn't fancy digging holes this morning but had a really good 'Ferret Around' in the long grass!
I don't think it's a Sandy Day! |
It's called 'Selective Hearing'! |
We were going up the path when we heard a terrible noise coming from out of the sky, OTL took a picture and it proved to be a low flying plane following the shore line.
Noisy Aero Thingy! |
An hour later we got a knock on the door and Tilly and Sassy and Andrea were visiting us!
We went back down to the beach again and there were loads of Two Legs enjoying the sunshine. First of all the tide was coming in and there were three young TL's messing about in the mud and one was even rolling in the mud!
You can imagine what OTL would have said if I did that!
Oh Dear! Wot a mess! |
It will be here soon, trust me! |
Sassy put it back into the sea! |
I ended up a very Soggy Doggy but OTL had a towel in the car, so I got a rub down before we got home. Mind you, I had to stay in the back of the car 'cos no one wanted a soggy doggy on their lap!
Me getting soggy! |
See you all tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Mr Brambles, Miss April and Miss May.
Looks like a super day Daisy.. I'm missing you all ... Give Holly a cuddle and lick from me
ReplyDeleteLove from TM xxxx
It has been very hot here today as well, glad you managed a nice dip in the sea. Now Barney looks like a doodle dog, doodle dogs do have selective hearing on account of having long ears, well, that's my excuse anyways. I think Miss Snowflake is right, it's too hot to dig holes today. Those page 3 girls are sneaky, fancy getting a lift on a walk. How nice for you to have some visitors, especially to take down on your beach. eeewww fancy those little TL's rolling in the mud, yuk. Wot a tiddly little crab that was, wouldn't make a mouthful would it. Daisy, you can sit on my lap anyday, soggy or not. Good luck with dinner tonight. I bet your TM is missing you already. Have a good evening, I bet there will be plenty of mugging and singing songs at yours. Love, licks and wags from little Arch xxxx
ReplyDeleteIt was very hot, you are right and today I have some news for you, guess what, Miss June and Miss July are on their way and Miss August and Miss September are too small at the moment but when they get bigger they will be arriving too. How about that for news, I was entrusted with passing the message on to you by Roy and Chris of Harrietsham Ferret Rescue and Chris makes very nice tea as well.
ReplyDeleteLove the selective hearing, I think TM gets a touch of selective buying when she goes out shopping for your dinner sometimes. You had better be careful about mentioning OTL and burnt food, doggy scoff doesn't need cooking just the tin opening and if I was OTL I would be heading for the tin opener after you being so rude!!! Lovely to see you had visitors and enjoyed your time on the beach with them, what a tidily crab but well spotted, I don't think there will be crab for dinner any time soon. Have a good time, could be a bit bad tomorrow, you may not need to go for a swim to get wet, never mind you will enjoy your day I am sure. TM is already missing you, isn't that lovely. xxxxxx
