Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Miss April and Miss May here again!
It hasn't been a bad day weather wise, well not down here anyway!
This morning we went out for our normal walk with Snowflake and she insisted on having a cuddle in Old Two Legs arm until we got down to the beach, then she jumped down, scuttled off into the sea weed for a wee and then headed off to the grass for a sniff!
She was in a good mood today and even chased Holly along the top path and making ferret noises that translated into 'I'm coming to get you!'
Not that Holly was bothered 'cos she knew Snowflake was having a game!
Back home OTL was again in the shower trying to find all the places where water could get out and into the ceiling downstairs. The up shot was, no shower this morning and a smelly OTL!
By the time lunch arrived, OTL had filled every hole and gap he could find, except the plug hole!
So, we now have to leave it for twenty four hours before turning on the water and checking the ceiling!
Claws crossed!
Lunchtime we were out again and May and April were all excited about looking at the sniffs again.
When we got down there, there were some clouds over Essex and we just couldn't decide if they were heading our way or not and if they were rain or thunder clouds. In the end we decided there was no thunder and only a small chance of rain!

Once she got over her excitement I gave her instructions on how to follow the sniff along the path and how the rain can make sniffs go all soggy at the edges!

We soon put him right and made sure he knew that these ferrets were 'Honorary Woofers' and he should keep his nose out of the way or he could end up with a pair of Ferret Fangs in his nose!

Now we are off to see what there is to mug tonight, we hope it's not salad again, salad is not Doggy Food!

Yo Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and page 3 girls, TM and OTL, glad it was a good day, we had a couple of little showers but nothing to put me off my walkies. Good to hear that Miss Snowflake was in a good mood and got her lift as well as her games this morning, I bet Holly was happy to play along with her game. Poor OTL, all that hard work and you call him smelly, I bet he wasn't as smelly as my mum, she slept thru the alarm and got a call from work, she bounced out of bed into her clothes and ran. Never seen her move so fast, I just got shoved in my cage and off she went without giving me my brekkie!
ReplyDeleteClaws crossed then that no water escapes the shower. Miss April will have to wait until the big slimey monster sticks it's nose out of the seaweed to find out what size it is. That little April is using her wiley charms on OTL, watch out you girls, she's got him twisted round her little claw. Oooh that westie was dicing with death, ferret fangs and 2 big sis woofers to sort him out....... he was very lucky. I was sorry to hear about Izzy and Hamish meeting up with a spiteful woofer, I hope they are both getting over it, my mum carries a big walking stick and if anything so much as looks at me the wrong way she points her stick at it, I think it's meant to turn into a toad. Most of the woofers round here are very friendly but we do have one woofer that my mum keeps her eye on. Let's hope that OTL doesn't have to pay too much to the vat man. Hope the muggings are good for you tonight, I don't mind a bit of salad, it beats doggie scoff for me. Lovely pictures today even the inquisitive Westie, the cloud array looked interesting and I am glad it didn't bring you rain. We have had rain, not all the time and we even had some sunshine, so that was nice. You are both teaching the little ferrets well about the sniffs, they need to know which is which in case one turns out to be a big monster. Hope OTL manages to have a shower by the end of the month or he will be forced to bathe in the fountain but that needs the sun to make it work! Do hope it wasn't salad tonight, no self respecting doggy would go near salad unless it was with a nice juicy steak. If it is steak bags you get first bite. xxxxx
