Daisy, Holly, Miss May and Miss April here.
First of all, a big thank you to everyone who has left messages on this diary and on The Missuses Face Ache page. You are all so kind and understanding of just how much Miss Snowflake meant to us all, especially Old Two Legs.
She is now resting, cuddled up to Mr Brambles and sharing his Wee'ing Rock!
OTL will have a couple of ferrets to talk to when he is in the garden doing to weeding!
This morning the Page 3 Girls were out with us, checking on the sniffs and generally ferreting around.
We met up with one of the Huskies who did ask Old Two Legs if the ferrets tasted of chicken but he was smiling at the time, so we think he was playing a game with them!
Do you think they taste like......? |
You got to catch me first! |
I think we got away! |
Yo Girlie's! |
No Barnacles here! |
Miss May was still ferreting around inside and said there were no soft beds to sleep on! Holly said she needed to bring her own hammock!
OK, where do I hang the Hammock! |
I really want a Ferret as a mate! |
Now, did we tell you about the Ferret Show being held this coming Saturday 21st?
It's being run by the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue to help feed and look after homeless ferrets until they can find a 'Forever Home'
Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles both won rosettes in their classes and we are hoping that May and April will keep up the good record!
The show is open to members of the public who wish to see what ferrets are all about!
The show is open at 09:00hr for booking in and the judging starts at 10:00hr.
There is hot and cold food being served all day and there is a Tombola with fantastic prizes!
Loads of free parking space, full details on the Harrietsham Web Site
Come along and meet us all!
May and April will be there in their 'Competition Cage' and Holly and I will be under the table 'cos we are not classed as ferrets!
Lunchtime we were back down the beach again 'cos the Page 3 Girls are in training for the show and are out jogging twice a day now!
We got going along the Sea Wall but came across a pair of 'Waders' as used by the Wormy Men when they are dancing in the mud. Problem was, no Wormy Man!
Do you think he has left them behind or have the Worms ganged up and attacked him and have thrown his boots back onto dry land?
Boots but no Wormy Man! |
Holly, May and I were left to trot back to the car 'cos we didn't want to get soaking wet!
I'm off, I don't do wet! |
Early to bed tonight 'cos we have got to be up early for another jog along the Sea Wall, May's training schedule is getting to the crucial part now!
Mind you, April reckons she will win 'cos she is so cute!
See you all tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May and Miss April.
Yo, Daisy and Holly and the page 3 girls, wot a rotten weather day today, looks like you had a bit better weather than I did. I'm glad to hear that Miss Snowflake is together again with her bestest mate, after you lot and I'm sure he won't mind sharing his weeing rock. It's good to know that they will be close to OTL when he is gardening. Those huskies look big, I bet the page 3 girls didn't hang about, how sensible to go hide in the long grass. I think you and Holly will need to wear signs, saying, our ferrets don't taste like chicken! Poor Barney 2, he'll think you girls are giving him the cold shoulder. Now is there somewhere that May could hang her hammock in that half boat where it wouldn't get wet? I'll keep my claws crossed that Santa paws will bring Poppy a nice ferret to train as an honorary woofer for xmas. My boy said last night that he would like to have ferrets as pets but my mum said she has her hands full with me. Honestly I don't know wot she's talking about. I saw the picture on faceache of your TM at the crafty shop. Did OTL manage to have just a little snooze while your TM was out shopping? I wonder if those waders swallowed the wormy man? They would come in handy for OTL when he walks you all in the rain. Tell those page 3 girls to get their training done, they have a lot to live up to at that show and we want to see them winning. Can't you and Holly become honorary ferrets for the day, you'd win all the prizes and I'd come and cheer you on. I've been to the beauty parlour today, my mum keeps sniffing me and she says I smell of baby powder........... yuk! If the weather hadn't been so bad I'd have rolled that yukky sniff off me by now. It's getting very windy outside here now, I keep hearing things go bump. I hope I'll be alright when my mum takes my boy for his scan later. Stay snuggled in the warm girls and give extra snuggles to OTL and your TM, give them both a lick from me. Love and licks from little Arch xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteHi, well after the upset yesterday i was a bit worried about today, i look forward each day to my e-mail about your day at the beach with all the adventures and friends, i don't usually pop onto the blog, but yesterday i had to comment on the missus blog and today on yours.
ReplyDeleteThe photos each day and the write up really make my day. Even on such an upsetting day it was lovely to see Snowflake and Brambles from day one with you
I hope Poppy was ok about the sad news and i hope Santa grants her wishes.
The waders made me laugh and i like the thought of the worms revenge.
Good Luck Saturday, and i hope April and May bring home a prize to cheer OTL up and wish i lived nearer would come and support you, but the West Midlands is a bit far.
Thanks for your wonderful blog and so sorry about the loss of Snowflake.
X Sam.
Hello again Daisy, glad you have all managed to pick up the pieces of your week and be happy in the knowledge that Snowflake is with Mr Brambles and close by. They were special parts of your lives and need remembering, even the little nips OTL used to suffer all that time ago. We will be at the Show on Saturday and look forward to seeing you, Holly and your minders, hopefully you will get a few tit bits with the food being close by. Wouldn't it be marvellous if Miss April and Miss May managed to get certificates of their own, let's hope so. Those waders made me laugh, they tell a story if only we knew what it was, maybe the aliens of Sheerness came over and took them over the water, could even be Southend! Poppy looks much better now she is clean and perhaps Santa Paws will bring her a little ferret of her own together with biscuits and chews. Keep up training your little friends and try to keep out of the wind and rain. xxxxxx
