The View is Terrific, if only we could see it!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Miss April and Miss May here!

And Wot a day! It has been misty and even more misty today! We got down to the beach and looked across the water and what did we see?

Sheerness!
Well, we would have done if the fog wasn't there!

Having all the mist and fog we didn't see Poppy come creeping up to say hello, well, she really only wanted to say hello to Snowflake but she was having a wee at the time!

Come on Snowflake hurry up, my TL is calling me!
After Snowflake had finished she and Poppy had a little game of chase on the beach, which Poppy thought was great!

OK, your turn to chase me!
It wasn't long before Poppy had to leave us but Snowflake waved Bye Bye and went back to sniffing along the grass path!

Old Two Legs spotted a spiders web that was soaked with the droplets formed by the mist, so he just had to take a picture!

Spider Jewels!
We were soaked by the time we got back to the car but OTL gave us all a good rub down with our Doggy Towel so we each were transformed from a Soggy Doggy to a Damp Doggy, except Snowflake who got first go with the towel and was a dry ferret!

We had a super bowl of chicken waiting for us when we got home and afterwards spent the morning snoozing!

Lunchtime came and we met up with Michael, Sue and the Mini Two Legs called Daisy, just like me!

We all had a walk along the Sea Wall and we showed them the 'Half Boat' and the Rock Pools and Daisy found a dead crab in one of the rock pools!

Miss April was doing her 'Carry Me' bit and in the end OTL relented and picked her up. We are sure that April really only likes to be warm and snuggled up in a soft bed!

Yeah, OK, F/2 is good, now can I get a carry?
Miss May, being a bit of a hardy soul was ferreting about looking for slugs and snails to nibble on and Michael just couldn't resist an 'Overhead' shot!

Smile for the camera!
We got back home after another rub down with the towel and soon the ferrets were tucked up and fast asleep. Holly and I are looking forward to a bit of mugging tonight, OTL is going to have curry, so Holly gets the Nan bread dipped in the juice while I take mine dry!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Miss April and Miss May.

  1. Yo, Daisy and furry mates, it was so foggy here I thought perhaps I wouldn't be able to see your diary thru it. It was a tad chilly in that fog, I got soaked walking in it as well but probably cos I was nosing in all the piles of leaves. Poppy really is taken with little Snowflake, you better keep and eye out or she'll be trying to take her home with her. Good to hear you all got a good rub down with a dry towel, well I expect it was a tad damp by the time OTL got to the last one of yous. A nice big bowl of chicken sounds the business to me. How nice to catch up with Michael and Sue and the mini TL Daisy, I bet you all had some fun. Wot did they think of the half boat? Probably a good job the crab was dead or it might have nipped a little finger. That Miss April is a lazy bones, she misses all the good sniffs that Miss May and you and Holly find. Enjoy your nan bread tonight and hope there are some other muggings as well. Stay warm and cosy and have a good evening all. Love, licks and wags from little Arch xxxxxxxx

  2. Lovely to see you in real doggie mode and thank you for showing us all the treats of the beach, shame about not seeing Sheerness but the half boat made up for it. We would never have found the boat in the fog, our mini Daisy had a lovely time and wanted to know "What is there if we could see it" but wasn't really impressed with the answer "Sheerness", we must bring her when you can see the beautiful view! The bejewelled cobweb was really lovely and OTLs' foggy day was very mysterious, we were surprised how many people were on your beach, we knew that they all flocked to OTL and the ferrets. Sometimes you and Holly must feel left out because you don't get all the ooooh's and aaaah's now that the little furries are there to take your limelight but never fear I still think you are both lovely. Hope you enjoyed the naan bread, best to keep away from TM's salad, you are better off with doggie scoff! Stay warm on Monday, we are sad because it is the day our Daisy goes home to her mummy and daddy. xxxxx

  3. Yes as Sue the boss says we had a great time with you all at the seaside, I think that's where we were but I wasn't sure with all that mist. We had a great time and mini two legs enjoyed the trip.
Just trying the blog on the Mac to let's see if it posts.
