Wot A Grey Day!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Miss May and Miss April!

Well, it is Saturday again, so that means that The Missus pinches the car and goes off to her 'Master Class' to slap the glue about again!

That also means she is out early and pinches the little car to take all her stuff up the hall and that means we have to make a choice, do we walk up to the Village Hall and collect the car or do we say 'Stuff It' and get in the big car and do it in style?

'Stuff It' we all said and headed off to the beach in the big car!

Miss Snowflake was interested in the 'Half Boat' and reckons she found that it has a sort of Anchor that is preventing it from drifting off!

Well it looks like an anchor!
Then after that she headed off to do some sniffing and found what she described as a 'Super Ferret Sniff!

Like me, she just loves a roll and unlike me, she gets away with it!

This is how it's done!
We met up with The Lads out on their morning run and Young Poppy went up to Old Two Legs and tried to swap her mate, Boo, for Miss Snowflake!

Come on, I'll do you a swap for Snowflake?
Snowflake heard what was being proposed and decided that the best thing to do was to get to the vet early!

I'm Off, Vets appointment, Sorry!

It was the truth, but we were half an hour early!

Holly and I stayed in the car while OTL and Snowflake headed in and poor Snowflake got stabbed twice and OTL says his wallet got stung as well!

Still it could be worse but tomorrow we are not going to the vets 'cos Snowflake got a 'Double Dose' of antibiotic and another anti inflammatory jab, so she will be OK until Monday at eleven when she is due to see the vet again.

Back home it was Snoozy Time  while OTL cleaned out the cages and then sat down to watch the F1 Practise. Well, that's what he thought he was going to do but instead we decided that we wanted our Lunchtime Walk!

Trouble was, it was raining, not hard but enough to get too wet!

As we had made such a fuss and the ferrets were all dressed up in their harnesses, so we couldn't really back out!

OTL has taken the big camera out and already he has found the B&W button and of course, the first to get their picture taken is me!

and I got Wetter and Soggier as we headed home!
The ferrets didn't mind the rain and they found the sniff that Snowflake was rolling in this morning.

Yes! They even stopped for a roll themselves!

How do they get away with it?

Snowflakes been here!
We didn't hang about too long 'cos Holly and I didn't want to get too wet, so it was back to the car A.S.A.P!

I don't care if you are related to Otters, get a move on!
Back home we all got dried and snuggled down for a snooze. Snowflake wanted to come out for a run around the office, so I was sent out!

OTL had to give her a wash 'cos she had not been able to get to the Poo Pot quick enough and had wee all down her leg. We are hoping that the antibiotic stuff will clear up any infection that she might have and she gets better soon. We will get a better idea when she visits the vet again on Monday. Claws crossed!

F1 Racing tomorrow, so we may have to have our lunchtime walk a little earlier!

Bye bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Miss May and Miss April.

  1. Way to go Snowflake, that looks like a super sniffy roll. Now I'll have to have a word with Mr OTL, it's not fair to let the little furries roll and not the bigger ones. Mind, Daisy, today wasn't a day for hanging around and rolling. My next door neighbour took me out after my mum left me home alone! You don't look very happy in your picture walking along in the rain. Poor little Snowflake, fancy getting stabbed twice. Glad the page 3 girls enjoyed their walks and rolls. Daisy, my mum had strict instructions to have a word with your TM about the doggie scoff, apparently you can look forward to better scoff tomorrow. My mum said she really enjoyed her day down at your village hall, I'm not speaking to her at the moment. Hope you have some decent muggings tonight to make up for that doggie scoff, stay warm and snuggly, hope Miss Snowflake is feeling better and more on target tomorrow. Love, licks and wags from little (home alone) Arch xxxxxxxx

  2. Yes it was a wet day we were in Rye and it rained all day, even in the evening we stood in the High Street for two hours in a sort of drizzle getting damp. We were told the Torch Light Parade started at 7 pm so at 6-15 pm we took up our positions, the crowds started arriving and arriving and arriving then we were told it started at 8 pm! Finally at about 8-15 pm it arrived, very colourful and worth waiting for but ........ by the time we arrived back at the Rugby Field where we were Camped the bonfire was lit and the fireworks were under way ............ a glass of hot mulled wine in hand it was after 10 pm. We went into our friends caravan for wine and nibbles all very damp. They have two woofers who didn't mind the bangs and whizzes, they were happy in their beds with a few doggie treat biscuits. I don't see why you and Holly can't have a little roll sometimes in a little good sniff, it is not as though you come across any good cow pats, I could understand that. Hope Snowflake gets sorted out soon, she can't be happy with it either. xxxxx
