Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Freddy back again!
We love Sundays, we all get up late, except The Missus who gets up when it is still dark!
The ferrets get left in the dark so they can wake up when the sun gets up, a sort of 'natural' way for a ferret to wake up!
However, after a rampage around Old Two Legs office and an early breakfast, the ferrets reckon they can really enjoy another snooze while OTL drives them to the beach!
When we get there what did they say?

April wasn't too impressed and after a wee and a poo decided that the best place to be is inside the bag! Even a game of 'Bulldozers' was cut short when April decided that digging in wet sand made her paws cold!

It's at this point both ferrets recognised the sniffs and ran almost all the way back to the car!
Back home the poo pot saga is on going! Freddy has just one poo pot with cat litter in it to soak up the sniff. Next to his poo pot is another tray but with high sides and he can't get over the side, so, he goes into the one with litter in and does his business there! Success!
The Page 3 Girls are another story. The poo pot is first of all left with no litter in it, until, one of them stops kicking it around the cage and does a wee. Then OTL puts just a handful of litter in to soak up the fluid. Then over night they both use the poo pot. One of the ferrets still kicks the tray out of the corner and does a little pile behind the tray!
I told you those ferrets were sneaky!
Lunchtime came and Freddy was invited out for a run and today he was a star!
On the beach he was playing at 'Bulldozers' and had a great time digging up the sand!

He is getting into this walking lark big time!
Now, yesterday we had a visit from Mike and Sue on their way to visiting the local Slough Fort. When they were in the U.S.A. Sue brought a 'Racoon Toy' for Holly and I. Holly thought it looked like a ferret but I had to point out the rings on its tail! See, ferrets don't have tails like that!
Well, I think it is fantastic and have spent hours playing with it 'cos it has a 'Squeeky' thingy in the end of its tail and on in its head!
It is so funny!
I've called it Roger the Raccoon!

OTL has asked me to say 'Thank You' to all who have wished him a Happy Birthday and thanks for the cards and the bottles of Malt Whisky!
Well, actually he didn't get any whisky but he did get a ton of Short Bread!
We got a nibble of his Plawns and a good helping of Plawn Clackers as well, in fact, we all pigged out and spent most of the evening burping!
OTL has set up the studio ready for TM to do another Yoo Toob film, so we expect to see some results in a couple of days, fingers crossed!

Hi Daisy, Hamish here. Looks like you've all had some good walks on the beach today. Freddy is amazing now. He is walking so far.

I've managed to get my Paws on the 'puter while Izzy is on her holibobs in Glasgow. She said that she was staying with a woofer from Russia so I got worried that he may be a woofing spy but mum said he was very nice and that there were two other girl woofers there too. The kind lady called Katerina Smirnova (still sounds like a James Bond character) has sent a video of Izzy playing with all the woofers and they bark at the TV just like her. The boy is called Ferrari and one girl is called Porche - bit flash for me- but they look like kind woofers and were happy to share their treats with Izzy too. In the video, Izzy is trying out the mugging technique that you taught her. We will pick her up next weekend, so I get all the doggy treats to myself til then...result!

Evening girlies and Freddy, you've all had a good day by the sounds of it. I went into my garden this morning and it was all white!!!!! I sniffed all round but couldn't find my green grass, still at lunchtime my grass came back and all the white had gone away. My mum was laughing cos she said I had a big white snow ball on my face. Glad to hear you got a lay in. Those page 3 girls are definitely having a game with OTL and their poo pots. Seems that Freddy is catching on though. Did Freddy do all that ploughing up the beach? He'll be right fit soon. Glad OTL got lots of shortbread for his birthday, I bet he'll share with you. Glad to hear that you got a share in last nights Chinese as well. It sounds like the snow fairy didn't visit you today. Looking forward to seeing Mrs TM's video and really got my paws crossed that you and Holly have a part in it. Izzy is lucky having a holibob, I've never been on one yet but you never know, perhaps one day I'll get to go. ReplyDeleteGlad you liked Roger, he will keep you warm in the winter. Freddy is doing well with the walking and may be coming to terms with the poo pots, time will tell. Poor April and May being dragged out of a nice warm house into the car for a voyage to the sea while it is still dark, how would OTL like it? Shame about not getting any Malt but I think it will take him quite some days to demolish that shortbread consignment, I hope he took a picture of the crate! He wont let you put it in your Diary for fear of everyone descending on him for a share, like being a Lotto winner, he will get all the begging letters! Glad you enjoyed your plawns and hope today you made some more real food in your bowls. xxxxxx
