We're Famous!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

I don't know what it's been like your end of the world but down here in North Kent it has been super sun shine all day long!

This morning we were down the beach, digging holes in the sand, as usual, when we heard a big Bang out to sea!

Then it went bang again and again and again!

The ferrets didn't know where it was coming from and to be honest, neither did Holly and neither did I!

April got a bit worried and suggested she got back into the ferret bag!

I think I should hide!
Holly and I stood very still and sniffed to see if there was any dangerous woofers heading our way!

I see no woofers1
It was Old Two Legs who explained what the Bangs were. It seems that over in Essex, there is a gunnery test site and they test guns and stuff by making them go Bang!

We left them to it and headed off home 'cos we knew there was some Lambs Heart waiting and we were getting hungry!

After a snooze Holly and I decided that we should go out again before Wendy had to go to the vets.

Off we went with Freddy and we met loads of woofers we knew and of course there were loads of Two Legs who wanted to give Freddy a stroke and then take a picture of him cuddled up in t OTL's arms!

Down on the sand Freddy got into digging a hole then he headed off to sniff the sea weed!

OK, now I'm going Hunting!
He was having a great time running over the sea weed and making it go 'Pop' when he stuck his claws into the bubbly bits!

They're going pop all the time!
There were no more Bangs coming across the sea so we all felt safe!

Up the top of the grass path, Freddy said there was a strange sniff coming in from the sea. It turned out to be a Wormy Man digging close to the shore and disturbing some oily mud stuff!

Just wot is that sniff?
Back in the car park we met up with Auntie June who was down with her husband and grandson for a walk along the Sea Wall as far as the old Power Station.

Freddy did his 'Poor Me' thing and got a cuddle from June but after a couple of sniffs he decided there was no food to be had!

No Food, No Cuddles!
Junes grandson, Alex, asked for a cuddle and Freddy said OK, providing there was some nibbles. It turns out Alex had eaten all his sarnies!

So, that was it, poor Freddy didn't get and nibbles!

You know he's getting more like Holly Dog every day!

I've been conned, no sarnies here either!
That was it, off we went back home to fetch Wendy 'cos she had an appointment with the vet to get her operation checked.

Off she went with OTL and after some poking about she was declared as 'fit and well' and she can go out for a run with us tomorrow and we can stop giving her the medicine to stop her tummy from getting sore!

So, we are all back to normal again and other than Aprils medicines, we are all 100% fit and well!

OTL says that he is going to give the ferrets ears a clean to get rid of some ear wax and then dust their ears with some stuff to get rid of ear mites which they could pick up when they go out for their walk with us.

So, that's it for today, loads of sun shine and Spring is really here!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

New Faces!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

You know it really feels like Spring has arrived. We have spotted Red Tailed Bumble Bees and even saw a Butterfly as well!

Not that it has excited the Ferrets, they still want tot get back home to a warm bed and a fresh bowl of Kibble!

OK, that's a hole, now, can we go home?
We met up with Poppy and Beu and Bryn, who were out for a morning paddle in the mud!

Poppy and Beu who have a thing about mud!
Of course when it came to head off, Poppy just sat down and refused to go!

It was the same old thing, Poppy had to be dragged along the sea wall until we were out of sight!

But I don't Wanna Go!
Old Two Legs has almost finished his work so we went out at lunchtime with Freddy for a stroll in the sun shine.

Freddy did his hole digging and even had a sniff around the sea weed.

He said that he could hear Holly and me woofing in the hole down the other end of the beach!

Hey, I can hear woofing!
We think he was telling Porkies!

We stopped at the Bench on The Hill and Freddy climbed into the ferret bag while OTL was taking our pictures!

Back in the Bag again!
Holly of course was doing her 'Pose and Smirk'!

I don't know how she does it!

A Holly Smirk!
Back in the Car Park we met up with a couple of Two Legs who had never seen a Ferret before! They took pictures with their phones and one even asked to hold Freddy while his mate took a picture!

Freddy, being a curious ferret pointed his nose up and gave the TL a lick on his chin!

Mmmm! Says Freddy, they taste different!

That's a new taste!
Back home we had Chicken waiting for us and Holly reckons with luck we will not have to eat Doggy Scoff again for a few days!

Now, hearing that Izzy and Hamish are heading this way sounds like fun! If we are lucky we can introduce them to some serious sniffs on the beach, providing the tide is out!

Wendy is off to the vet tomorrow and with a bit of luck she will get signed off and be allowed to go walkies with Freddy at lunchtime!

We are off to see what OTL has got for dinner, so we may get some extra nibbles tonight!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Fresh out of Ferrets!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

Well, what a change to the weather now that Easter is over! Strange thing this weather lark. Just when you get a holiday the weather changes to howling gales and six foot of snow and yest as soon as you go back to work.......the sun comes out!

Hey! Izzy, we have been to Portpatrick! We were there on our holidays and that was the year Mr Brambles died! A bit sad for us but the camping area was so full of rabbits Holly and I were going potty trying to get to them!

We did manage to escape a couple of times and chase those Bunnies!

Mind you, down here the bunnies are few and far between!

The weather was bright and sunny down on the beach and Old Two Legs had brought the Page 3 Girls down for a dig in the sand.

Not that April was too impressed, she would rather stay in the Ferret Bag or better still, at home!

Well it was your idea to come down here!
Holly and I thought it was great, dashing up and down the beach looking for sniffs !

Loads of Sniffs down here!
Back home we got Doggy Scoff plonked in front of us when we got in. I mean, does a woofer have to put up with this rubbish?

Holly said she wasn't going to give The Missus any more cuddles until we get some proper scoff!

OTL has been busy, this time of the month he is getting all the invoices out and preparing to issue 'Statements' just to let his customers know what they should be paying him!

Then there is the stuff he has to get ready for the accountant, more paperwork!

We are glad we are Woofers and don't have to mess about with all that stuff. What do we have to worry about? Sniffs and Doggy Scoff!

Lunchtime Freddy was woken up with a sniff of Ferretone and put in the new Travelling Cage for his run on the beach.

Now Freddy doesn't do running 'cos if he does his tummy bangs on the ground! So, Freddy does what we call 'Slow Wobbles' as he makes his way along the beach!

My Tummy is damp, can I get a lift?
Freddy does get a little exercise 'cos OTL makes him walk all the way along the beach and up the grass path. Today he got lucky 'cos there were a few woofers charging about, so Freddy got a carry all the way to the  bench on the hill!

Then while we were having a chat with a couple of young lads, all about Ferrets and Woofers, Freddy got into the bag and decided to have a snooze!

I like it in here, can I stay?
Of course, OTL would have none of that and insisted that Freddy walks all the way back to the car!

After the young TL's had wandered off Holly got to thinking about Ferret Bags.

'Mmm', she said, 'Do you think they do Woofer Sized Ferret Bags so we can get a ride?

A Woofer Sized Bag?
Unfortunately, I opened my mouth and without thinking said...............

It would have to be a big bag to get your butt inside!

That's when the fight started!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Stormy Weather!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

Well! Wot a windy night we have had! The rain came down in bucket loads and there were puddles everywhere!

Yesterday Old Twp Legs said he should 'Top Up' the water in the pond but forgot to do it. Still the storm came along and 'Splosh!' the pond is all full again!

Mind you, it blew loads of paper and plastic bags into the garden and even blew over the Rat Trap onto it's back!

We decided to leave the ferrets in bed 'cos it was still blowing a storm and the rain was coming down every so often!

Looking across to Sheerness you could see the waves breaking over the boats in the harbour!

Soggy Sheerness!
Looking to the East the Wind Powered Generators were clearly visible through the mist!

Loads of Power!
We didn't hang about too long 'cos the wind was trying to blow us off the Sea Wall and the thought of some Lambs Heart waiting in our bowls was making our mouths water!

Lunchtime we were out again and we still left the ferrets at home. In fact OTL decided to put Wendy back in with Freddy for some cuddles!

Down on the beach OTL was saying he could have done with his Yellow Filter 'cos the clouds were all broken up and fluffy and they would have looked great in B&W!

Where's a Yellow Filter when you want one?
Mind you, that didn't stop Holly and I from digging in the sand. I dug a big hole and woofed!

WOOF!
Holly, who was deep in her own hole said she could hear me woofing through the sand!

'ere, I can 'ear you woofing!
OTL called us a pair of Potty Puppies but we didn't take any notice, it was more fun woofing through the sand!
When we got to the bench, Holly and I jumped up and asked OTL if he could take our picture using the Yellow Filter, but we knew he didn't have it so we both called out 'Gottcha!' and headed off to the car!

Come On, Get your Yellow Filter Out!
Back home we have been watching the DVD of Star Wars, you know, all the old ones. The latest one is due for release on April 20th so we are looking forward to that!

OTL says it is a good job we didn't go away this weekend 'cos the wind might have blown the caravan away!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Rain, Sun, Rain, Rain, Sunshine, Rain, Rain, Sun, Rain, Rain, Sunshine, Rain, Sun, Rain & Rain!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret back again!

What a day! We were up late, well late as far as the clock said but we go by our own clocks not those silly Radio Controlled LCD Clocks!

We rely on real clocks, our tummies!

So it was, by your reckoning, we left home at nine to go for our morning walk, it was raining.

When we got to the car park, it was sunny!

Of course there was a Rainbow over the Thames!

Where's the Pot Of Gold?
As we headed off down to the beach the sun came out and I just felt so good..........I had a Roll!

I don't care if I have my coat on!
We had a game of 'Chase' up and down the beach and Holly said that the Page 3 Girls would have liked the beach today, well that was until it all went dark and the rain started again!

Here comes the rain........Again!
We legged it back to the car and got there just in time before the deluge started!

Back home Wendy spent some time in with Freddy while Old Two Legs cleaned her cage out. There were loads of licks and cuddles but Wendy decided to tell Freddy she was still in charge and she gave him a nip on his ear and started to screech as if she was being attacked!

OTL separated them and put Wendy on the floor!

That sorted her out!

Lunchtime there was more rain outside our front door and really didn't fancy going out but OTL insisted which once we got to the car park we found it had stopped raining and the sun was out!

We went along the Sea Wall and came across a slug who was out on a training jog. He said that he was planning to enter The Marathon later this year as the only Racing Slug in the field!

Mo Slugger the Racing Slug!
Holly had difficulty in suppressing a giggle and had to run on ahead!

Holly's excuse for going ahead was she spotted a Fishing Contest and she was sure there was food to be mugged!

A Fishing Contest so there must be food!.
Holly was out of luck, no one gave her a nibble!

Not even a sniff of a sarnie!
Once again OTL had decided to leave the ferrets at home because of the rain and Wendy had to go back into her own cage.

It was just as well 'cos when we got to the beach OTL spotted a squall coming down the River Medway and suggested we get back to the car!

Here comes the rain, AGAIN!
We got back home before it started really pour down! OTL says that tomorrow Storm Katie should blow across us and Holly says that we might have some very short walks!

Back home we got a big bowl of chicken each and after a lovely snooze went back and finished the last few bits of chicken!

Now we are off to have another snooze before dinner is served, OTL's dinner!

Then it's Mugging Time again!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

It's The Missus's Birthday Today!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

You know, we were singing Happy Birthday to The Missus this morning and just after four!

We know how to surprise her!

Last night we left Old Two Legs down stairs with a box of bits, a screw driver and a spanner. This morning, there it was all gleaming Yellow and White, an exercise bike!

No, it wasn't a 'Surprise Present' OTL's not that daft!

It is just that TM has decided she is above her BMI (Body Mass Index) and she has decided to loose some weight, just like Holly, only Holly didn't decide, it was OTL and TM and The Vet who decided but Holly can't ride a bike so she is stuck with an absence of nibbles and stuff like that!

TM is going for the absence of nibbles and a half an hour peddle on the bike while watching TV or making a card!

Yesterday TM was in a 'Creative Mood' and that means loads of glue, glitter, ink and other mucky stuff. At the end of the day her hands were stained all the colours of the rainbow and a few more as well!

No matter how much soap and scrubbing she tried it was still on her paws this morning.

There was a second 'Birthday Present' from OTL and this one was a 'Surprise Present'

A tub of Swarfega!

That soon shifted the inky stains!

Now she has gone off for the day doing demos at the local Craft Shop with clean sparkly paws!

OTL says that as it is her birthday we are going to have a Chinese Takeaway tonight so that means we might get some Crispy Plawns and some Plawn Clackers as well!

It wasn't so warm down on the beach this morning so we stayed well away from the sea!

When we got to the car park, Holly and I rushed off to say 'Hello' to the rabbits leaving OTL to wake up the ferrets.

May was not a Happy Ferret!

Do You Mind! We wuz Sleeping!

It wasn't hole digging weather so the ferrets were only interested in a wee and back in the bag again!

OK, where's the bag?
OTL said that they are both in need of a walk to keep them fit and also to keep their claws in trim!

OK, up the top of the hill we get a carry, Right?
OTL did pick them both up but it was only because Poppy and Beau  came rushing up to say hello!

OTL took a shot of Sheerness across the river, so you can see it is not the weather to hang around!

It could be rain!
Back home it was 'Clear Up Time' so Holly and I headed for our cushions while OTL played with the ferret poo!

Lunchtime arrived and OTL woke Freddy up to go for his run, Freddy said he would rather stay in his bed!

OTL wasn't having any of that, so, off we went for a drafty walk!

OK, here is a little dig, just for you!
Freddy dug a little hole, just so he can say he has been busy on the beach! Then he got half way up the hill and told us all that....................

Me Back Legs Have Gone!
You know he shows off rotten when no one takes any notice!

Near to the top of the hill Freddy came across a Weasel sniff that was just oozing out of the ground!

Now that's what I call a sniff!
Being that it is the time for baby Weasels and the like, you get to expect all these 'Signpost Sniffs' I suppose all animals do it really, except Two Legs.

When you think about it, it's a wonder they ever produce babies, I mean, how they tell it is breeding time I'll never know!

Holly and I are sitting up at the bedroom window waiting for the 'Birthday Girl' to arrive back from her inky day.

Then as soon as she has used the Swarfega we'll all be off to the Chinese for some Plawn Clackers!

See you tomorrow!

Watch out for the rain!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and 'Sore Claw' Freddy de Ferret!

A Very Good Friday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and our mate Freddy de Ferret here again!

We were out good and early this morning and we all enjoyed the super sunshine on the beach.

Old Two Legs was still keeping a good eye on me and wouldn't let me near the pile of smelly on the beach.

So, Holly and I enjoyed a general sort of sniff along the high tide mark!

I know it's over there but I'm not allowed!
Miss May had another chat to the bit of tree trunk that has been washed up on the beach for the last fer days. It was supposed to have floated away but decided to stay, just for the Easter Holiday!

OK, but next week you are off, OK?
April has been full of fun today, she had a big game of 'Chase' with her sister and even had a gentle walk up the hill.

OK, but I go at my own speed!
On the way back to the car we spotted a dead rat on the path that was providing a couple of crows with a sustaining meal. OTL told us to keep away but make a note of what the rat looks like.

Well, it looks like it was got by a terrier type of dog and the crows had just started to tear it to bits!

Not a pretty sight!

Back home OTL cleaned all the cages out and changed all the bedding. He had to take the bedding into the garden and brush off all the fur that had been shed 'cos the ferrets are all moulting at the moment and there is piles of fur everywhere!

The Missus put all the bedding in the washing machine and soon it was all out on the clothes thingy in the garden drying off in the sunshine!

It was a good thing that the sun has been shining all day 'cos at lunchtime we were down on the beach again and I went in for a swim!

The warm sun stopped me from getting too cold and a nice warm towel in the car helped dry me off as well!

Me having a Splosh!
Freddy was sniffing along the beach and was getting a bit close to the waves. OTL told him to be careful of the waves and what did he say?

They're not Waves, they're Ripples!
Well that's not what he said the next time a 'Ripple' washed his tummy for him!

Yikes! I've been Wetted!
A roll in the grass soon dried him off and we all headed back to the bench where OTL tried another 'Selfie' with Freddy.

Still not right!
Never mind, one day he'll get it!

Now, about that dead rat.

No it's not the one from our garden, our Ratty is keeping out of the trap!

This rat got killed last night or early this morning and has been providing the crows with a meal.

When we passed it on the way back home all that was left was the skin and some bones!

The crows had eaten the rest!

We on the other paw dined very well on lambs heart!

Holly said that she counted a number of tins of Doggy Scoff in the food cupboard so next week there is a chance we will starve again!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy Freddy de Ferret.

Wendy gets her belly looked at!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Fall Over Freddy de Ferret here!

It's the last working day before Easter and as normal, Old Two Legs has been rushing around like a ferret with it's tail on fire!

We got a 'Fast Walk' this morning on the beach and then it was back to the car 'cos there was a big order that just had to be shipped today!

I mean, they are not going to get delivery until Tuesday and more than likely they will have a few extra days off anyway. So, whats the rush?

These Two Legs really must get their priorities in order!

Well, to add a little bit more fun to the occasion, I found this whacking great pile of poo that was calling to me!

I had a sniff,

Then I had another sniff and, well, one thing led to another and I was tied up in the back of the car and taken home where I got washed from the top of my nose to the tip of my tail!

Just get a load of this!
Was it worth it?

You Betcha it was!

Lunchtime I got the 'Woofers Warning' from OTL, so I stayed out of trouble and just sniffed around with Freddy!

Mmmm Ferret Wee!
Freddy was having fun as well. After seeing me go for a swim he decided today was the day when he would try the water as well.

Now, he wasn't really deep enough for swimming but it was certainly some Deep Paddling!

This tastes Muddy!
He was having a great time running around in the water. It was a good job there weren't any large waves or he might have got washed out to sea!

He found a rock buried in the sand and spent some time trying to work out if it would do as a Weeing Rock!

Well, it's big enough but how do you get up there?
In the end he left it and raced off after OTL and up the grass path.

He tried a couple of 'Roll Overs' but no one was taking any notice so he tried the old 'Sad Eye' look and that worked for a little while but as soon as he got to the bench, he had to run the rest of the way on his own paws!

I only want a Little Carry!
During the afternoon OTL took Wendy down to see the nurse at the vets to have her belly looked at. The nurse said she was very pleased with the healing and that Wendy won't have a big scar, all of which pleased OTL and Wendy!

They have got to go back in seven days but we don't expect any problems to appear!

OTL managed to get all the stuff down to the carriers and now he just has to clear up all the paperwork!

ow, Holly and I have been having a chat about young Archie Babes problem. We mean that bad mannered Bozo who thinks it is OK to mess up a Woofers Toy Box, Pinch his 'Treat Ball' and then mess up his Blanket!

So we got this idea.

Wot you do is to wait until the next time he comes visiting and the Two Legs are busy gassing. Then you sneak over to where he is sitting, do a big wee on the carpet next to where he has plonked himself.

Then get Mr Nipper to scream out and point towards the wet patch and the Bozo while you are tucked up pretending to be asleep on your cushion!

He will get Doggy Scoff for a month!

Now, is that sneaky enough or wot?

We were in the office when OTL ordered up our anti tick stuff and he had to describe me 'cos it has always been Holly who had her name on the form!

OTL said he was going to describe me as a Smelly Woofer but in the end put down Dog!

Have a good time over Easter and claws crossed for some good weather!

Bye bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.
