Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret back again!
What a day! We were up late, well late as far as the clock said but we go by our own clocks not those silly Radio Controlled LCD Clocks!
We rely on real clocks, our tummies!
So it was, by your reckoning, we left home at nine to go for our morning walk, it was raining.
When we got to the car park, it was sunny!
Of course there was a Rainbow over the Thames!
Where's the Pot Of Gold? |
I don't care if I have my coat on! |
Here comes the rain........Again! |
Back home Wendy spent some time in with Freddy while Old Two Legs cleaned her cage out. There were loads of licks and cuddles but Wendy decided to tell Freddy she was still in charge and she gave him a nip on his ear and started to screech as if she was being attacked!
OTL separated them and put Wendy on the floor!
That sorted her out!
Lunchtime there was more rain outside our front door and really didn't fancy going out but OTL insisted which once we got to the car park we found it had stopped raining and the sun was out!
We went along the Sea Wall and came across a slug who was out on a training jog. He said that he was planning to enter The Marathon later this year as the only Racing Slug in the field!
Mo Slugger the Racing Slug! |
Holly's excuse for going ahead was she spotted a Fishing Contest and she was sure there was food to be mugged!
A Fishing Contest so there must be food!. |
Not even a sniff of a sarnie! |
It was just as well 'cos when we got to the beach OTL spotted a squall coming down the River Medway and suggested we get back to the car!
Here comes the rain, AGAIN! |
Back home we got a big bowl of chicken each and after a lovely snooze went back and finished the last few bits of chicken!
Now we are off to have another snooze before dinner is served, OTL's dinner!
Then it's Mugging Time again!
See you all tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!
Afternoon maties. Wot a day with the weather, I managed to get out first thing before it all fell out of the sky, since then, like your weather it's been on and off but we haven't had a rainbow. The wind has been whistling down our chimney, which has a board in front of it but I can hear things landing inside it so I've spend quite a lot of the time doing some quiet woofs and sitting waiting for something to burst out from behind the board, so far nothing has appeared yet. I bet the little furies were all glad to stay at home today. Did you enjoy your roll, was it a sniffy roll? I had a roll this morning and I got a nice green go faster stripe down one side, my mum caught me before I could get the matching stripe on the other side though. Them fishermen are meanies, fancy not giving Holly a little sniff of their lunches, I hope the fish all went off and didn't play with their worms. Good to hear you got some decent scoff, now how do you leave scoff in your bowl to go back to later? I don't know how to leave scoff in my bowl. Has Mrs TM been on a nice ride on her new bike? I was wondering about this bike riding and not going anywhere, do you pretend to run out in front of her and the bike? I hope Miss Wendy wasn't beating up on poor Freddy, it's not his fault she has to have a separate cage at the moment. That little slug will get lots of training in for the marathon on his way to the start line. Hope you all have a good evening, nice and snuggly away from this storm wots supposed to be coming. I'm going to stay snuggled up with my mum. Enjoy your muggings girls. Lovely photos today OTL. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteAh yes, I remember it well, we went to an Easter Bonnet Parade of motor cars, they had their bonnets decorated and looked really good, not as many as before and the owner of the Hot Dog Stall(pardon that) didn't put his big Easter Bonnet on the hut roof this year because of the wind. Looks like you were lucky with the rain not getting at you too much and that looked a good roll you had. xxxxxx
