Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.
Well, we had a special delivery today and it was a 'First' for us!
Now you know we always get some anti Tick stuff to put onto our shoulders? Well. Old Two Legs gets it well before we go away so that we can have a dose a month in advance and another in the month we go away.
Normally it is Holly that gets named on the prescription and it get doubled up. This time however, OTL has done some calculating and has worked out that it is better (cheaper) to get two prescriptions and double the stuff and that will do for our autumn holidays as well!
Well, all this High Finance Thingy has resulted in not only Holly getting a prescription in her name but at the same time I get one in my name!
Dead Posh!
Down on the beach April spent some time playing 'Bulldozers' in the sand and she was using her nose to shift the sand!
This means that when she paused for breath there was loads of sand in her fur.
Not that this bothers a ferret, she gave herself a big shake and the sand flew everywhere!
Stand by for a sand storm! |
We noticed that May had found herself a really smelly pile of sniff in a bunch of sea weed. Of course, being a ferret and an Honorary Woofer what more do you expect from her?
A REALLY GOOD ROLL!
She wriggled and rolled and slid down the sea weed pile several times, just to make sure the sniff got right into her fur!
Lucky Woofer!
This is how it's done! |
Guess wot I sniff of? |
Back home we got presented with Doggy Scoff!
I Mean! Just wot is the matter with The Missus? She might just as well take the money from her purse and throw it in the dustbin, that way it would save all the messing about in the middle!
We hear that OTL has got sausages tonight, so there is going to be some serious mugging this evening!
Lunchtime Freddy de Ferret was dragged out of his bed to go for a walk. Now, dragged is not an exaggeration, OTL pulled him out and Freddy did his famous 'Dead Ferret' trick!
This is thing that some ferrets do. You lift them out of their sleeping bag and they don't wake up, they remain all floppy, no matter what you do to them.
OTL has in the past blown a big wet raspberry on Freddy's tummy and even that didn't wake him!
It is only the sniff of a Ferretone bottle waved under his nose that wakes him up!
OTL first saw this with Snowflake not long after she came to live with us. At first OTL got all worried and had believed that Snowflake was dead!
It was a good job he saw her take a breath or she might have ended up in flower pot before her time!
Ever since then OTL has been wise to that trick!
Not that it stops Freddy from trying!
He even did it on our walk but he hasn't worked out how to keep his eyes closed and squint through one eye just to see what OTL is going to do!
Honest! I can't move any of them! |
Right, we are off to see if there is a big sausage with our names on it!
I wonder, can you get sausages on prescription and could we add them to our anti tick stuff?
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy (getting better) and Freddy de Ferret.
Evening all. Well I'm right impressed Daisy, it's very posh to get your own prescription thru the post and all this high finance stuff. Good to hear that Miss April had a really good play in the sand and Miss May finding a really good rolly sniff. That Freddy is such a clever little chap, he knows how to get wot he wants the easy way. Now I can't believe that after I told you to tell your Mrs TM about the germs on the doggie scoff tins, that she's still opening them and feeding you that stuff. Didn't OTL take over the feeding duties while Mrs TM isn't well? I hope OTL gives you and Holly chops a sausage each to make up for you being starved this morning. Good to hear that Miss Wendy is getting better, has Freddy been to visit her today? I didn't meet up with any of my woofer mates this morning, they must all be staying in bed longer. I'm off to the vets tomorrow for a check up, I've been on my new tablets for a week and me and my mum are well pleased, I think the vet will be, well I know she will be, cos she'll be getting snugs from me ......... so who couldn't be pleased with that. Hope your Mrs TM is feeling better today. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteSo Miss Daisy Godwin, how l o v e l y to have your own anti-tick medication, oh I am so jealous, with that and your own doggie scoff, things are looking up!!! Archie and Hamish are going to be so envious to read this. Did Miss May have to be washed after her smelly roll? Poor TM with her sniffles but she seems to be able to cook doggie scoff, how good is that. Freddie makes me laugh with his antics and he looks so appealing, I love his colouring, he is beautiful but not as much as you and Holly, you two are the mostest. Hope TM feels better soon perhaps a couple of anti-tick drops on the end of her nose would help, only a suggestion. Have a lovely Easter with doggie chocs and steak. xxxxxx
