Hot Work!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and the sweet Freddy de Ferret!

Wot a glorious day it has been, loads of sunshine and some great games on the beach!

It started off with Miss May getting a bit worried about a Kestrel that was hovering on the wind looking for its breakfast!

Mouse with Mushrooms and a bit of Fried Bread!
May was wondering if it was looking for that shrew she caught the other day!

If it comes down here can I have it for breakfast?
Little April was having fun on the beach 'cos the sand was not only dry but it was warm as well, so she didn't mind walking on the sand with her sore paw!

Old Two Legs said that it looked like the swelling had gone down a little but we will wait for tomorrow to be sure!

This is so warm!
May was off in the Sea Kale again and pretended that she had finished off the shrew and even called out that there was another and she was too full to eat it!

Guess who was trying to trick the Kestrel?

Yum Yum! Shrew!
It seems the Kestrel is not so daft 'cos it took one look at May and headed off down the Sea Wall!

Sometimes OTL calls May his 'Little Flower', so, today she stuck her head out of the Sea Kale and tried to look like a Ferret Flower!

You can call me Petal!
Back home OTL got called by his customer and spent nearly all day working on the computer again!

Holly and I spent time in the garden snoozing and listening to the fountains in the pond!

We still haven't seen Trevor or any of his brothers, maybe they have all cleared off to the swamp on The Marshes!

Lunchtime on the beach was great! Holly and I were playing 'Dig and Whizz' and I even tried to get Holly wet when we were playing 'Chase' along the beach!

Come on, just a bit closer to the waves, you won't get wet, Honest!
Not that Holly believed me! Freddy was a bit more gullible and he got too near the waves!

'Ere, I got me Tummy Wet!
Wendy was laughing her whiskers off at Freddy getting wet but she didn't get close to the water, she's not that daft!

Holly and I played 'Tug' with a stick we found on the beach and the pair of us were nose to nose for a long time!

GerrroffmystickundfindyerownorI'lldragyerintothewater!
In the end Holly let go but it was only because we were getting too close to the waves!

Freddy walked all the way back to the car but managed to have a few 'Rest Stops' along the way!

This is Hot Work!
Wendy was dancing about all the way back as well. You can tell they love the sun on their back!

When we got back to the car we all had a cooling drink of water form the 'Travelling Bowl' and Freddy almost fell in 'cos he wanted to get his head wet as well!

Daft Ferret!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Hello little maties. Hasn't it been a nice day. Glad you all managed to have some fun on the beach. That kestrel might have been looking for ferret on toast, I should be careful and keep an eye out just in case. Loved all the pictures today, you and Holly look like you're enjoying your tug of war. Poor Freddy getting his tummy wet but I expect it felt quite nice in the warm sunshine. I've had a couple of walks today and met up with some ladies who love me and made lots of fuss of me. I've had a few little snoozes and I'm going for another little walk later when it's not so warm out. Happy muggings this evening, love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx p.s. hope April's paw is back to normal tomorrow xxxx

  2. Beautiful pictures today, so cute, you are all so lovely, "Petal" is the cutest followed by the nose to nose. Holly had her sensible head on today letting go before she got wet, too smart for you sometimes, keep trying though! Freddy continues to be brave getting a wet tummy, has he stopped feigning a bad leg, perhaps he fears that OTL will pop him to the vets! Good about Miss April, let's hope the vet is happy with her paw and watch out for that kestrel because if he is desperate he might try something. Did you see the Doggy Bags, see I think of you and Holly, my favourite little woofers. xxxxxx
