It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!
Wot a change from yesterday It was all sunshine and Factor 35 and today it's Trench Foot and soggy tails!
Yesterday, as the sun disappeared over the top of the house, Old Two Legs took some pictures of the pond.
OK, Wot are we looking at? |
It was a shame that the sun had gone over the roof 'cos that means the jar wasn't dispensing water into the pond!
Blooms beginning to burst! |
Boo! |
Does my butt look big in this? |
Holly and I were right behind her and May and we all got a rub down with the Doggy Towel and even OTL gave his legs a rub!
Lunchtime walk was late 'cos OTL reckons he could see a 'Window' in the rain and it might be long enough to allow us a dry run!
Weeell, it sort of worked!
We drove through rain all the way down there and there were loads of large puddles that we splashed through! It was still raining when we got to the car park but it was slowly getting drier as we sat there looking to see if the rabbits were about!
No rabbits, but the rain stopped and off we went!
Down on the beach the ferrets got going on a fine looking trench!
Even Holly was impressed and asked if she could lend a paw!
Want any help? |
We headed back to the car and as we went back the rain started again, and it got heavier as we got closer to the car!
Fancy a swim Holly Chops? |
Back home we got dried again by TM who was ready with the Doggy Towel!
We had some of the Posh Doggy Scoff and settled down for an afternoon snooze with chew beside our paw!
Claws crossed we may get some sunshine! Well, so far today we have had nearly thirteen millimetre of rain today and that doesn't include what is coming after the blog gets published!
Maybe tomorrow OTL will try again to photograph the Lilly Blooms!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.
Evening little maties down by the seaside where it rained a lot today. Well when we got up at 3.45 it was quite nice out, my mum went to work at 5 and it was still dry, then she came home at 9 at it was hissing down. By 2 it stopped raining and it's been quite sunny and warm this afternoon. Poor Holly chops, you're right Daisy, she might just as well have had a swim with you. Didn't Freddy and Wendy do well with their trench, hope it isn't full of water tomorrow. Poor Miss May and Miss April, I don't blame Miss April for getting back in the bag or Miss May for hiding under the seaweed. Pssst don't tell her I said so but her butt does look rather big. Lovely pictures today despite the rain and your pond looks lovely, specially with the buds. Hope you had a good afternoon snooze and are ready now for a bit of mugging. Have a nice warm snuggly evening and paws crossed that tomorrow brings better weather. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteThe pond looks stunning, I love to see water lilies they are so beautiful and their leaves set them off so well. I have also seen yellow lilies but they don't have so big petals, such a pity the blooms only last a few days. You were almost lucky with the weather, I sort of missed it almost. No rabbits again, with the longest day presumably they have more daylight to avoid you. Posh scoff not so bad, at least it is palatable and it beats starving. Love to see the little ones digging around and peering around, they lead such charmed lives, well done OTL. Have super mugging and Tuesday. xxxxxx
