Claws Crossed for Rufus.

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret back again!

Have we had a good day today! We've been up the Kent County Show!

This morning first thing, we were down the beach a bit earlier than normal!

We met up with Bert who really fancies Holly rotten!

Morning! Holly!
Holly told him about going to The Show but as Bert had never been there it was a bit difficult explaining wot it was all about. In the end I told him all about the sniffs and then he seemed to get the idea!

Before Holly could get down to the beach the Ladies and young Percy came along the Sea Wall and Holly had to explain all again!

OK, anyone been to the Kent County Show? No? Right then, there is this place full of sniffs...........
While Holly was telling her tale I was keeping an eye open for any passing ships!

I spotted a Container Ship heading off to Hamburg to drop off a few containers and pick up some new ones!

Hamburg here we come!
It wasn't long before we set off for a day of sniffin some of the best sniffs in the county!

Old Two Legs didn't bring his camera so you will miss out on some of the views!

We stopped off at the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue stand where they were racing ferrets and telling everyone about the life of ferrets.

As we know all about ferrets it was rather boring, so Holly and I got into a corner and had a snooze while The Missus had a cuddle with one of the baby ferrets and asked if we could take a couple home with us!

OTL said that we didn't have the room for another 'Group', so TM showed off!

The ladies at the Allhallows Croppers held a Cardy Thong Thingy and through their efforts raised funds for Demelza House and the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue. Well, while we were there we were told about a ferret called Rufus who was handed in the the rescue a couple of days ago. He had a big lump where his tummy should be and he was rushed off to the vet who drained a lot of fluid. Then he was booked in for an operation to find out what the lump was all about. Now, this sort of treatment costs money and it was decided that the donation from the Allhallows Croppers would be used to finance the cost of his treatment!

TM will be putting pictures and a progress report on her FaceAche page so you can follow the story.

Claws crossed for Rufus!

Claws crossed for Archie Babes mum who went home with a car with a cough! Let's hope it was nothing serious! At least she got home, our car refuses to even start!

We are off for a snooze now 'cos all that walking around sniffing has made us both very tired!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties down by the seaside. Sounds like you've had a lovely day. So how many baby ferrets have you brought home? We're all rooting for Rufus here and we hope his op goes well tomorrow and wishing him a speedy recovery. Mrs TM will have to have another cardy thong thingy to help with the funds cos these vets are very expensive places. My mum wondered if the RSPCA might give a voucher towards Rufus' treatment, perhaps the people at Harrietsham rescue could give them a ring and ask. Maybe some of the crafty ladies could do a bring and buy of stuff they don't want and donate a percentage to the rescue place as well. I hope the woofer treat stall had some stuff left for OTL to buy for you. We're sorry to hear your big car is still not working. My mum tried our car this morning to go up the shops, it went but she's got a man coming on Wednesday to examine it and maybe give it some treatment, I expect he'll be a bit expensive like the vets. Lovely pictures down on the beach this morning and I'm glad you managed to get some ticks for your boats list. I'm off for a pre dinner snooze. Hope you got some decent muggings today. Have a lovely evening all and paws crossed for Rufus. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx xxxx few extra for Rufus.

  2. Glad you managed to get s few pictures up of your morning walk with all your mates there and one big boat. Did I understand right, it was TM who cuddled the baby ferret and wanted to take some home? It seems to be a poor sick car week, I hope Archies' mums car didn't catch anything from OTL's car and they both get them sorted really easily. I will be watching out about poor little Rufus, I do hope that the clever vet is able to help him and so good that there are people who have contributed to help Harrietsham Rescue with their work. Glad you made it to the show and I hope you came home with some lovely treats from that Stand. Has TM managed to catch up with all the sport today, it was very nail biting and if I bit my nails I would have chewed them away today! xxxxxx
