Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here with you again!
Well, what news from Archie Babe! Fleas!
You know, Old Two Legs told us about Mutters, a Golden Labrador that used to live in our house. He had to be taken to the vets on account of his ear wax. While sitting in the waiting room a flea managed to sneak onto his tail!
Well, the vet spotted it and was about to grab the flea but OTL jumped in quick, grabbed the flea and crushed it! The vet looked mortified!
OTL had to buy some anti flea stuff but never saw a flea again! OTL reckons the vet has a box where he keeps a stock of fleas and lets one out when the waiting room is full, just to help sales of dog care products!
Mind you, it is worth giving those hedgehogs a wide berth you never know what they have been rolling in!
We were up early this morning 'cos The Missus demanded the car today 'cos she was doing a 'Master Class' at a local Craft Shop. So, that means we had to get out early and in fact it was so early that little April decided to stay in OTL's coat pocket and catch up on her snoozing!
There were a few other 'Early Morning Woofers' who we hadn't met for some time so we were a little 'Cautious' as we passed on the path!
Of course May was a bit fed up with being picked up and carried while they went on their way!
There was no rain but the sky looked as if it had rain up there and was just looking for somewhere to drop it all!
Go on, rain on Essex! |
Lunchtime arrived and the shredder overheated and stopped with just twenty two pages of rubbish left to go!
OTL mumbled something rude and decided that we should all go Walkies!
Yeah!
We timed it just right to see a 'Liquid Gas Ship' come into dock!
Holly reckons there is enough gas in the ship to hold a 'Crop', I wouldn't be so brave!
Full of Gas! |
OK, carry on digging, I'll keep watch! |
Look, I got it! |
TM is due home soon and we reckon there might be a mugging or two tonight, if we give her a warm welcome!
Holly and I will be sitting on the head rest of the chair, just inside the front door waiting to give her a Woofers Welcome!
See you all tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and not forgetting Freddy de Ferret.
Evening maties down by the seaside. You've had a lovely day by the sounds of things, even if you did have to get up early. Poor May, I bet she gets right fed up with woofers disturbing her Sunday play on the beach but Miss April is pretty sensible, it must be very warm and cosy in OTL's pocket. That Holly chops is a good girl standing guard over Fred and Wendy so that they can play in peace. Good to see you got your dip today. Lovely pictures again today, I hope those clouds did blow over to Essex. My mum went out fairly early today and met up with Missies' mum and dad and heard all about wot young Missie is getting up to these days. My mum bought me back a present from the crafty show she went to, a flippin spray thingy so that she can spray apple cider vinegar and water on me, it's quite small so I didn't see her when she was sneaking up on me ready to spray me with it. The spray don't half pong, but it's not the sort of pong that you would roll in if you came across it in the grass. I'm still getting regular checks to see if my mum can spot any more dickies on me. Wot a cheek. She washed all her bedding that she used last night, just in case there was anything taking up residence in it! She's going to wear that washing machine out soon if she's not careful. I hope Mrs TM had a lovely day today, showing people how to craft and fling glue and glitter. I bet if Mrs TM brings you home a treat it'll probably be a nice tasty one. Hope you get some really good muggings, enjoy your evening and tell OTL well done for getting all that shredding done. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr (don't let that flea infested shaggy mat get near me) Nipper xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteWell my first news is that the school we were staying outside of and using its hall and facilities over the Bank Holiday has burnt down today, only 75-80 per cent of it actually gone they say! Could be to do with workmen repairing the roof, loud explosions were heard before the fire at about 8 am, we are waiting to see if they can find somewhere else. More of a problem is it is our Golden Anniversary on the 27th and Ian and co had booked a two night B&B just down the road. If TM goggles Selsey Academy she will see it. Very fed up, they were joining in the parties and just walking back to the B&B......
ReplyDeleteAnother ship for your collection, that's nice and also a lovely swim, also no rain and Archie hasn't bagged up a present for you. Hope TM enjoyed her day today, I bet she was in her element. xxxxxx
