Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret back with you!
Wot a fun day it's been!
Now, Old Two Legs has been working hard today. The bathroom floor had to be taken up again ( the third time) in his search for a leaky water pipe in the heating system. The first time was when the ceiling fell down because of a leak that had been going on for years. The second was to install a new heating system and the third is to search for the reason why the heating system looses pressure over a eight week period!
Well, the floor came up and then the floor boards came up and OTL was under the floor looking for damp patches.
He couldn't find any.
He turned the heating up full and searched again.
Nothing.
Then he went all over the system from top to bottom, still nothing!
Finally he got back to the main heater unit and checked all the joints he could find, still nothing.
Finally he was checking the bleed points and on one he found he could do up the cap a quarter turn. Then to check, he turned it back and some hot water came out. So, he turned it back to tighten it up again.
It is possible that the length of time it takes for the system to loose pressure, eight weeks, and the amount of air that would need to get into the system, he thinks it is possible he found the cause!
But, we won't know for at least eight weeks!
That leaves the bathroom floor. Having taken up all the tiles he now has to lay another tile flooring, the third flooring!
So, we know what he will be doing this weekend!
It also means we won't be getting the walks and attention we normally expect to get when The Missus goes out to her Master Class!
We were expecting the accountant today as well, unfortunately he had to call off his visit until next week but didn't tell OTL until TM had taken us out for our walk.
May and April were not pleased 'cos they missed out on their morning walk. You could tell that 'cos when OTL let them out of the cage they were bounding about all over the place!
Lunchtime was OK as OTL took us, Fred and Wendy down to the beach for our normal walk.
Holly and I were discussing a bit of Dig and Whizz when Freddy came up behind us and said he had been warned by May and April that we were full of crafty tricks!
Oi! I know what you two are up to! |
This afternoon TM took OTL down to B&Q to get a new set of tiles for OTL to lay. She had to go 'cos she wanted the correct colour and because of her Crafty Skills she knew what colour goes with what. OTL on the other paw goes on the 'Two Choice' plan.
Light or Dark?
See you all tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!
Evening little maties, for a little while I thought you were all gone awol.
ReplyDeleteNow this choosing tiles, Mrs TM could have just got white ones and take her glue and glitter and flung it over them, I bet she would have had a floor that looked really good. I bet the page 3 girls were quite upset at OTL not taking them out. I hope Mrs TM let you have a good run and sniff this morning. Paws crossed in 8 weeks time, OTL finds he's cracked the problem. See all this water stuff causes nothing but problems, that's why I don't like it. Loved the pictures of you all on the beach this afternoon, Freddy looks like he's about to mount a rear attack on you and Holly chops. I took my mum out for a walk this morning and it started to rain, we got a tad damp but at least we weren't soaked. It's been a bit of a busy day today and I didn't get my siesta with my mum this afternoon so I had to curl up on my own. Hope you all have a lovely evening with some decent muggings, OTL needs to make up in advance for the neglect he's going to inflict on you all on Saturday, although I reckon he'll make time to see that you all have a good time down by the sea. I was a good boy today and this afternoon when my mum was out watering the garden I went out and woofed at her to come in cos she was cooking and she forgot all about it, I saved it from burning. My mum was quite pleased with me about that, she said I was a clever boy. I hope Izzy's mum and dad have a good holiday, I'm not sure about this being left behind though, I don't think I'd like it if my mum went away and left me at home. Good luck to Miss April for tomorrow when she visits the vet, I hope the vet can help her feel better. I'll be waiting with my paws crossed for news. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little ( I'm a good cooker guarder dog) Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx
