A Sunday for doing nothing!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret back again!

This morning we overslept by a whole forty five minutes!

Even the ferrets were fast asleep when Old Two Legs went in to say 'Good Morning'!

IT was a little chilly when we went out to the beach and Miss May stayed wrapped up in OTL's arms to keep warm!

Mind you, looking at the clouds we expected it to be cold and drafty all day!

A cold start to the day!
May and I had a game of 'Hide The Ball' in the sand and you know what? I almost lost the ball to May!

It was a good job OTL rescued the ball or I might have had to say good bye to the ball!

Come on, let me have a go as well!
Back home it was 'Poo Shovelling' for OTL, as normal.

Holly and I rested on the bed, woofing at the neighbours who walked past the front of the house!

After all that was done we all took time for a snooze instead of watching the F1 racing.

We decided not to look at the F1 'cos The Missus is out at her Master Class and plans to watch the recording when she gets back this evening, so, we will look at the recording as well!

OTL framed a picture he plans to offer as a prize in the raffle at the Harrietsham Ferret Show.

He did one last year and that seemed to go down well, especially as it was a picture of ferrets!

By the time we went out at lunchtime, the sun had come out!

There was still a breeze blowing from the north east so both Fred and Wendy stayed cuddled up in OTL's arms until we got to the beach!

Once they were on the beach Freddy kept on telling Holly that she should go in for a dip in the sea but Holly, being Holly, declined and stalked off mumbling something about ferrets!

I wanna see those two splashing in the surf!
I had a little paddle but it wasn't the same without a ball to chase!

Fred decided to do a bit of rock climbing and set about doing some 'Scrambling' which is rock climbing but without and ropes and harnesses!

This is how it's done!
Wendy was climbing as well but she was further up the wall and was a lot quicker than Freddy!

The sun had got the tourists out and there were a few strange woofers and Two Legs.

Of course there were the Oooo! and Aaaah's when they saw the ferrets but as Freddy said, Roll on Monday so we can get a quiet walk!

TM should be home soon, so that means the F1 Racing!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

BTW are there any hills in Lincolnshire?

  1. Afternoon maties down by the seaside. It's been a sunny but chilly day here as well. Miss May seems to have decided you're her favourite sis. Tell Freddy and Wendy to be careful when they climb with out ropes and a safety net. We don't want them hurting themselves if there's an avalanche. Hope OTL will put a picture of his picture on for us to see. Lovely photos today. We've had a noisy day today, next door has been hammering all day and is about to get a length of my mums tongue if they don't knock it off soon. We had 2 power cuts today, they didn't bother me but they bothered my mum cos she'd just got to work and couldn't see the papers to write the address's on. There was a frog in the garden last night and he didn't want to play whizz and hop, he wanted to play peek a boo. My mum told me off cos I was about to bring him in doors to play. My mum took him off me and put him in the pond, well, he found a really good hiding place cos I couldn't find him. I hope it's warmer tomorrow then the ferrets won't have to be cuddled up to keep warm and you might even get a proper dip. Hope Mrs TM had a lovely day at her master class, I'm sure she will have. My mum said I've been to Lincolnshire with her once and we didn't see any hills or mountains there. Have a lovely evening and enjoy the motor racing, hope you get some snackettes while you watch. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. Hello again from Beamish, a wonderfully warm day although it wasn't supposed to be. Sunday lay in, can't be bad and those ferrets aren't silly when they like a lay in and a warm carry in OTL's arms. Rock climbing looks good although we did some serious hill climbing so much so that we haven't gone to the pub this evening. Hope the F1 was good I must take a peck to see what happened because the points are getting a bit nail biting. Will we get a preview of the framed picture, I hope so. xxxxx
