Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
You can tell that winter is on it's way, we had thick frost on the car this morning and there was frost all over the grass as well!
Not only that, did you know that we have the first 'Storm Warning' of the year, they have called it 'Angus'!
It is supposed to be at it's worse this night or the early hours of the morning, so I reckon Holly will need to have a wee before we go to bed tonight!
Back down on the beach Holly and I were playing 'Dig and Whizz', what we didn't know was that Miss May and Eric were planning a 'Take Over' of out hole!
OK, lets get them now! |
I tried appealing to Old Two Legs but he said I was being a wimp and should not be a bad looser!
..........but Daddy, they have stolen it from us! |
It's our ball now! |
picked up the ball and put it back into the poo bag he keeps the ball!
That sorted them out!
Back home the ferrets enjoyed a rampage around the house while OTL was 'Poo Shovelling' in the ferret cages!
One of his favourite jobs!
Lunchtime came and we were down there again and the tide was still out, so no swimming!
Holly and I resumed our 'Digg and Whizz' game.
My turn to Whizz! |
They said it was too cold to hang about on the beach.
They had fun exploring the cut grass and chasing Nargles!
Quick! Another Nargle over there! |
Freddy said that he saw a Nargle creeping up on Holly and offered to chase it away.
I think that really Freddy just wanted to make Holly jump!
Naughty Freddy!
I'll save you Holly Dog! |
Sunday tomorrow and with that storm called Angus we will be staying tucked up under the duvet!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Evening little maties. We had a visit from Jack Frost, our grass was all crunchy this morning and it was very cold. I got wrapped up in my fleece for my walk and although I don't like wearing it, it kept me a little bit warmer. That young Eric seems to have learnt all Miss Mays bad habits, like pinching your hole and burying your ball. I think maybe OTL needs to stick up for you a bit because you're outnumbered by them ferrets. I don't blame Wendy and Freddy for wanting to stay in the bag where it is warm and cosy, it's no fun getting frost bite on your paws and bits. I've had a lot of warm snuggles on the sofa today and I'm looking forward to curling up under the bedspread tonight, I don't do chilly. Freddy is good to chase away the nargles that were hunting a Holly chops, I do think she should be a bit more grateful to him. Have a lovely evening, stay warm, eat well and don't forget to stay under the duvet, make sure you go and have a good wee at bed time cos you don't want to have to go out when Jack Frost is about. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteI hope Angus doesn't upset you all, he sounds a wee bit Scottish to me, maybe the next one will be Brodwyn (maybe misspelt) a little Welsh lass! It is cold you are right there so those coats are well needed, the little ones don't seem to be troubled by the cold as it is the heat they can't manage, am I right? Lots of beach games, Dig and Whizz, Hide the Ball, Find the Nargle...... Hope you get some nice treats tonight and stay calm, snuggle up xxxxxx
