Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!
Another fun day today. We were out a little earlier than normal, mainly 'cos Old Two Legs had been sleeping in a funny position and woke up early with an aching jaw.
No, don't ask, it was confusing enough when he tried to explain to us!
Just for a change, it wasn't raining, too heavily, and we only got damp instead of soaking wet!
The geese were out on the mud enjoying an early breakfast of slimy things and a beak full of mud!
Holly says they are Brent Geese! |
Come on, I'm off, race you to the car! |
We all wondered what he was on about, until he got the camera out and 'Snap'!
Hello Sunshine! |
Back home we decided to have a snooze while OTL was poo shovelling when we heard the front door opening.
It was Auntie Chris come to play 'Glue Slapping' with The Missus. We were stuck in the bedroom 'cos the ferrets were on the rampage and May and Eric got the first chance to give Chris a little 'Welcome Nip'!
Well, actually it was just their claws but it felt like a nip!
After Eric and May retired to their cage for a snooze it was Fred and Wendy's turn to chase Auntie Chris around the lounge!
Great fun!
Once all the ferrets were back in bed it was our turn and we had a present of some Doggy Chews waiting for us!
Yum! Yum!
Lunchtime we were out again and this time it was Fred and Wendy who decided that it was warmer, safer and more comfortable in the ferret bag than running on the beach!
Mind you, we did see two rainbows and once again it was Sunshine behind us, rainbow in front of us and rain on top of us, twice!
Still no pot of gold! |
Not sure what we got for dinner tonight but as we have finished off our chicken we are not starving, yet!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Evening little maties down where there were 2 rainbows. It's been wet and cold here again as well. I didn't get a rainbow though. I did get my walk in between the rain so I'm not complaining, but it was very chilly. Auntie Chris was very lucky to get to play with rampaging ferrets, sniffs from you and Holly chops AND slap glue with Mrs TM. Loved all of OTL's pictures today. Sorry to hear he slept funny and his jaw ached, I wonder if he'd been dreaming of chewing on a huge juicy steak and that's why it ached. Glad to hear that you had some chicken and you're not starving yet, but I reckon some tastey muggings wouldn't go amiss when Mrs TM and OTL have their dinner. Me and my mum had a lovely snuggle and snooze on the sofa this afternoon, we were both rather tired and decided we'd earned a siesta. Now about these pots of gold at the end of the rainbows, if it ends in the mud, give me a shout, you know I don't mind a bit of mud as long as OTL doesn't give me a wash again I'll try and get the pot for you. Have a lovely evening, stay warm and snuggly. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteMichael said those people in their high vis jackets even get into your pictures, he hates them, he prefers dark green, brown or black attire. Auntie Chris had a lovely day with glue, claws and chases, she is a very brave TL and needs a certificate or two. Sorry about the rain again but at least you saw the rainbows, I just got dripped on with no pretty rainbows but it seemed warmer today or am I just getting used to the cold? How is OTL's jaw this evening, I wondered if he dreamt of being a woofer in a kennel with a big juicy bone? Hope you had some nibbles to go after your chicken or maybe geese a la orange! xxxxxx
