It's getting a bit chilly down here!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, Saturday today and The Missus is off to her Master Class clutching a load of paper and inks, so you can just imagine what her fingers are going to be like tonight!

Young Eric is getting a bit fed up with having to stay in the cage when Miss May goes out for a walk with us in the morning. He gets a right strop on and rattles the cage bars and we have even seen him trying to bite the bars!

Old Two Legs told him he had to be patient  and wait for the tenth of November when his injection should have kicked in and he will be protected against Distemper and other nasty stuff!

Eric was still not impressed!

Last night, at two thirty, he decided he wanted to have a rampage around the house and set about rattling the cage bars.

OTL told him off and shut the office door, then he shut the bedroom door.

TM walked into the door 'cos she was expecting it to be open!

OTL put his head under the duvet and pretended to be asleep!

Down on the beach it was a bit gloomy, the sun had come up but it was chilly, so we decided to have a quick run and then back to the car!

Pretty but rather chilly with a North Wind!
OTL had told us he  wanted to get back quickly 'cos TM had made an appointment for him to get stabbed with a needle to help prevent Flu this winter!

So, back we got, OTL managed to clean one cage before he had to go. So, off he went to the Head Office of the medical centre and arrived at twenty past nine, just in time for his nine thirty appointment.

Trubble was, the place was shut up!

Seems like he got there a week early!

Wot a Plonker!

All the cages cleaned and Eric got a rampage through the Ping Pong balls and a race around the kitchen and lounge!

Come lunch time Fred and Wendy were just getting into their snooze time when OTL woke them up to come for a walk with us!

Both ferrets got a cuddle all the way down to the beach, so they were ready for a run back to the car!

I fancied a swim but one look at OTL told me I didn't have his blessing!

Err! Let me guess...........No?
Mind you, one look at the water I could understand what OTL was getting at!

It looks a bit Yuk!
The tide wasn't fully in but there was some muddy looking scum being washed onto the beach.

I don't fancy swimming in that!
There is sand on this beach but after that comes mud and when the tide comes in it stirs the mud up and makes the sea look mucky!

It might be OK for washing Holly's butt but not for swimming today!
Back home it wasn't long before all of us, except OTL, were fast asleep!

The weather is promising some rain later today so maybe that will dampen the Whizz Bangs tonight although we did see that the local pub was offering a 'Free Firework Display', They will do anything to sell beer!

We plan to get cuddled up with OTL tonight and if it gets too bad we will have to go to bed early and cuddle up together!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties. Oooh it has been a chilly day here as well, most of the day I've been snuggled up on the sofa. It was cold when I went for my walk down the shops first thing but I got lots of cuddles to warm me up for the walk back home. Poor Eric, I bet he's going stir crazy. I hope OTL's shoulders weren't shaking under that duvet when Mrs TM walked into the door. Loved the pictures today. I bet Fred and Wendy wished they had some warm coats to wear when it gets chilly down by the beach. I hope there aren't too many whizz bangs going on down your way cos I know they upset Holly chops. We've lots going on here but they don't bother me, they bother my mum though, she's doing a rain dance in the hopes that they all get their whizz bangs wet and they only fizzle instead of whizz. So OTL got a reprieve from being stabbed, now you'll have to talk him into going again next week, hope he doesn't bite the doctor who gives him his jab. Hope you all have as peaceful an evening as possible, snuggle up close and hopefully the whizz bangs won't be so loud. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. Hi all of my Kentish friends. Chilly! We've had snow! Luckily just on the hill tops but cold enough for mum to put a coat on Bella for her walk. She's still got her thin puppy hair so gets cold. Don't like the look of the black mud so think you were wise not to swim today. Soppy OTL getting his dates wrong. Now he'll have to go through all that worry again. Poor Eric getting bored in his cage. I don't blame him for showing off when he gets left behind. Won't be long now till he can scamper on the beach, roll in the sea Kale and Bury your rubber ball. You will have to teach him how to search for Nargles too. Xx

  3. TM needs a little head light so she can see in the dark, Michael said he has just the one with a red light so that she won't wake up those trying to sleep, bang head, I bet she was happy! Or not! Poor Eric having to wait but he does get a rampage in the ping pong balls, will OTL have to wait until his distemper jab kicks in? (I think you said it was for distemper as well, not tooooo sure now, maybe not).
You were right not to swim, that water looked disgusting very yucky. There are wizz bangs going off here even though the local club had their do on Wednesday, feel so sorry for the little ones, both two and four legged, cuddle up to Holly and take care. xxxxxx
