The Day After The Day.

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Well, wot a day! Yesterday it was Old Two Legs birthday, I think he is 500 years old or summat near to that!

We went down to visit his cousin and his wife. Now Glynis, has her birthday on the 15th January so they get together to make it a whole day of celebrations and gassing about 'The Old Days'!

A woofer can get really bored listening to the tales they tell!

We were good woofers and didn't get into trouble when they went out for a meal at a local restaurant where they had loads to eat and they didn't even bring us a Doggy Bag back!

By the time we got back home it was terribly late, so we didn't have time to do a blog, we were just too tired!

Today Eric got to go to the vet for a checkup on his operation and to check his stitches. All was OK and the vet said he could go out for a run on the beach tomorrow but OTL said that we were going to leave it for another 'Few Days' just to be on the safe side!

Not that it stopped Eric from investigating the office.

He found the Thingy Wottsit that connects to the Internetty and asked if he could eat it as it had flashing things on it that looked rather tasty!

Does it taste like chicken?
The trouble with Eric is that he gets all upset when he can't go out for a run, especially when Fred and Wendy go out and he gets even worse when Miss May gets to go out and he is left behind!

Down on the beach Wendy spent a long time investigating the Sea Kale Roots that were still exposed to the wide world after our Storm which washed loads of sand and shells away!

These tubers sniff of something I just can't put my claw on!
Freddy was having a good time running and dashing about. He made OTL put him down almost as soon as he arrived and he ran and walked almost all the way down to the beach and back again to the car!

He did stop when one of those flying things came over the top of us, mind you, we don't see too many with two whirly things!

Is that a Helichopter?
The sun had got up when we got to the beach but OTL has made it look like it is very early but the sun over Sheerness gives it away!

A Sneaky Picture today!
We have been helping OTL take the pictures down off the wall by the stairs 'cos tomorrow we are expecting delivery of a new bed!

OTL has arranged for the delivery men to take away the old bed and install the new bed so tomorrow night we will be sleeping on the new King Size bed!

OTL was thinking of getting a Super King Size so all of us can get on the bed but in the end we decided that a King Size would be the largest one we could get in the bedroom and if there wasn't enough room, well, The Missus could always sleep in the caravan!

OTL got loads of cards through the door and there was even a couple sent via the Internetty thing!

One from The Cat Woman and that had a super picture of three ferrets that were the spitting image of Wendy, Eric and Freddy!

He also got one from Archie Babe which was a moving cartoon of a woofer being attacked by a bunch of marauding frogs! The only saving grace was the woofer had to stop chasing the frogs so he could do some mugging and pinch the sausages that were cooking outside the tent flap!

No, don't ask, it's too long and we haven't even mentioned the Robin and the Chaffinch!

Thanks Archie Babe, OTL has played it seven times already!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties down by the seaside. Well you certainly had an interesting day yesterday, shame there was no doggie bag brought back for you though, booo hissss. Glad little Eric got on well at the vets today, did he ask for his jewels back? I've been to the vets today as well, I got stabbed again and more blood taken but they did have some results, my blood tests that were sent away came back, I've passed, and my poo that was sent away passed it's test too. See I do clever poos. The vet thinks I'm doing well and that the pancreatitis is on its way out now, they will let me know about my new tests hopefully by the weekend and depending on them whether I need to go back or not, hopefully not but I can always go for a cuddle instead of being stabbed. I was a bit sad cos one of my little friends Molly chops was put to sleep yesterday and she belongs to my friend Brenda, so I went and gave Brenda extra cuddles and licks when I'd finished at the vets. Lovely to see the picture of little Eric getting ready for a taste of the internetty thingy majig, I don't reckon it tastes much like chicken though. I bet Freddy and Wendy really enjoyed their walk down on the beach today, they look like they're having fun. Tell Freddy them helichopters thingys are very noisy, I'm not keen on them. I hope Izzy is over her grumbly tum. That kingsize bed sounds good to me, me and my mum have got one but sometimes it isn't quite big enough but you're right, Mrs TM could sleep in the caravan if you can't all fit in. I'm pleased OTL liked his card, I chose it specially for the bangers in the pan, I thought Holly chops might like it as well seeing as they were sizzling away. Hope all goes well with your new bed delivery and that you all find it very comfie. Have a lovely evening all and enjoy any muggings, stay warm and snuggly, the frost is already settling here so I must keep my open for that Jack chap and bite his butt if I catch him. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

  2. Well you have all had a lovely couple of days, shame not to have a doggie bag but they make up for it in other ways. The weather seems much warmer and so good to see all of you on the beach except for young Eric who is going to have to wait another couple of days. I hope you gave OTL my message about his birthday, I suppose he was so busy with all the good wishes, I know Michael sent him a greeting via TM, there must have been thousands of messages for such a popular man. A new bed, I bet it is double sprung and fit for a King, you wouldn't want Super King because they catch fire! Boom, boom! Glad Holly and Archie have pleased vets and with Eric pleasing the vet as well, can't be bad at all. Pleasant dreams when you get the chance for a snooze and enjoy your Wednesday xxxxxx
