Wot a couple of days we have had!
Yesterday it was all rush and tear around chasing our own tails! There were some last minute panics about booking in on line and what bags to declare and in the end we left the booking in until they got to Heathrow and did it in person!
We had to leave at some terrible time in the morning which Old Two Legs had calculated meant we had to get up at four thirty!
OTL was worried about missing the alarm, didn't sleep very well and ended up getting up at four in the morning!
Finally we got to Heathrow and Holly, OTL and I waved and woofed them off as they headed for the booking in desk!
We headed off and got back around nine and it was straight down to the beach for a well deserved wee!
The ferrets didn't mind not going out on the early walk, May and Eric came out at lunchtime and enjoyed a dig in the sand!
All day we have been watching the Internet and following the planes progress across the Atlantic. At the moment they are running down the centre of the U.S.A. and OTL reckons they will land around 21:30hr GMT which is about 15:30CST (CST= Central Standard Time?) They have a lot of time zones over there!
We are heading off for an early night 'cos we are all very tired! OTL reckons they will have slept for most of the way there and should arrive all bright eyed and bushy tailed!
So, night night for now and let's hope it all gets back together again tomorrow!
Watch out we reckon we may even see The Missus leaving some comments on this blog!

Ohhh Daisy, I was really worried, I felt sure you and Holly chops had stowed away in Mrs TM's case. I'm glad you're still at home though. I bet you didn't feel like getting up that early but I was up at the same time as you. My mum has been tracking the flight as well and they've got about another 2 hours then Mrs TM will be taking America by storm. Stay snuggled close to OTL tonight and look after him, there'll be plenty of room on the bed for you 3. Hope Mrs TM had a good flight when she finally lands. Have a good snooze all and I'm sure you'll be able to tell the ferrets all about the flight in the morning. Night night and sleep tight. ReplyDeleteSorry booking on line was too fraught, it isn't what you want when you are going on an adventure, wishing them a safe landing and then Texas had better look after them. With all this travelling and different times it will be you and Holly that have messed up body clocks. Hope OTL enjoyed his first meal, he can always have doggy scoff sandwiches, poor OTL all that responsibility. Have a well deserved snooze and let's hope Monday brings sunshine and you can have los of nice walks. xxxxxx
