Weasel-like Stinky Thief!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Now, I know we have some fans out there who even find the ferrets warm and cuddly!

Did you know they have a Latin name that roughly translates as ' Weasel-like Stinky Thief'!

When we heard that we thought that it was a little rude to call a ferret a 'Stinky Thief'!

That was until we sniffed Wendy going into 'Attack Mode' and letting one go that made our eyes water!

OK then, a bit sniffy maybe, but a thief? Well that was until this morning when Old Two Legs witnessed Miss May doing a 'Breaking and Entering' to get some of our biscuits!

A Safe place to keep our biscuits!
Someone Sniffs food!
Someone works out the 'Hinge Theory'
...and then the 'Lever Theory'
We're In!
A Little 'Leg Up'
Don't forget to bring your tail in as well!

This Breaking and Entering was done four times and at one time she was joined by Eric but he couldn't get his nose in the door and waddled off with the 'Huff'!

Storm Doris arrived and sent some dark clouds down to us, together with a bit of rain that managed to soak us all!

It's Doris's back end!
After our lunchtime walk in the wind, Michael and Sue arrived at the house. We were going to take them down the Sea Wall but they decided that it was too windy, too wet and too cold!

So, they stayed with The Missus while May and Eric, Holly and I went for a stroll!

I was glad to get back, not because it was windy but because I had left a Bonio under my sleeping cushion and I didn't want Holly Chops to find it before me!

She didn't, but she found hers under her cushion!

TM is starting to pack her suitcase ready for her holiday, so many things to sort out, like, do I wrap the binoculars in Bubble Wrap?

I mean, she has loads of clothing in the case, why bubble wrap?

We headed off for a pre dinner snooze and left her to it!

 See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss (Weasel-like Stinky Thief) May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties down by the windy wet seaside. Cor, hasn't that wind blown today, and I don't mean weasel like stinky puffs, I mean real tree blowing branches flying window rattling gale force winds. There's been so much stuff blowing into and out of my garden I don't know wot to sniff first. Mind, you have to watch out cos it's like someone shooting missiles. I've only been out to do the necessary, I'm not that keen on being dive bombed by bits of tree and stuff and the rain is a definite no, no, you know me I don't do WET. I hope your eyes didn't sting too much when Miss Wendy let go of her nasty niff. Wot a sneaky thief that Miss May is, she don't give up easy does she. If I was Mrs TM I would keep checking my case just in case that sneak has been in there and removed some of the stuff. I'm glad to hear that Eric didn't aide and abet Miss May in the end. Glad you had visitors, did they bring any scoff treats for you? I think you would be better off hiding your bonios in a locked cupboard cos it seems to me that the other 4 paws all consider it fair game. I'm going for a pre dinner snooze cos the noise of everything bumping about outside has disturbed some of my snoozes today. Have a good evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. It was lovely seeing you today, sorry you couldn't have any of the treats we brought but you were allowed to be given some ham. Next time we come we hope to be going walkies with you but not today, it was bad enough getting in and out of the car. That Miss May living up to her stinky and thief images but fortunately not at the same time, Eric not silly only joining in the eating of the stash. Tell TM to be very careful or she might get a stowaway in her case, the Cusoms and Excise won't see the joke of finding wildlife in the luggage. Hope the evening and night are quieter so you get your snoozes in and guard your Bonios, little Archie had better go outside towing an iron weight in case the wind blows him away. xxxxxx
