Another wet one!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back with you again!

It's done it again! The clouds sort of ganged up and the next thing we knew was the frogs were complaining they were getting wet!

We looked at the rain radar and decided to get going before the main cloud arrived with all that rain!

Let's get a wee done and back to the car!
Before we headed back Two Legs got a shot of the old tower in the middle of the estuary and it wasn't until we looked at the picture that we saw some writing on the wall, it says 'Lurker'...........no neither do we!

All we need is some sun shine!
Back home OTL was cleaning the ferret cages, his morning chores, the ferrets have a great time 'cos OTL makes each cage cleaning last about an hour. That way the ferrets get a good rampage around the house, getting into trouble and messing about in The Missus's crafty stuff!

Have you ever seen a ferret with glitter on its tail!

Holly has been troubled with a Grumbly Tum over the last couple of days but today she had an irresistible urge to eat some grass.

Now I know what that means, you just gotta have some grass. Unfortunately the carpet in OTL's office doesn't have any grass growing out of it, so we needed a walk!

Holly did the jumping up and hitting the back of OTL's chair. OTL being a good OTL got us dressed in our harnesses and the ferrets boxed up in their travelling cage and off we went at eleven thirty!

Holly soon disappeared into the undergrowth looking for some grass and a place to poo!

I ran down to the beach but the tide was still far out so I had some fun running up and down the beach.

Come on! Catch me if you can!
As we got to the end of the beach it started, drip, drip, the rain started. So, what could we do? That's it, head back to the car!

Holly was ahead of us so we all started to chase Holly Dog along the top path. There were times when the ferrets were keeping up with me!

Come on you two, not far now!
Holly slowed down a little 'cos she just couldn't resist stopping at a patch of grass that looked tasty!

I caught up with Holly and the ferrets were catching up fast!

I'm not getting any closer to her backside, she's got the Grumbles!
Back home we were served up with chicken, that filled our tummies and we headed off to the office for a snooze under the desk until dinner time!

Now, we liked the idea that we become official tasters for the Doggy Scoff Factory but so far we haven't found any scoff that even tastes like food. Can you imagine it, Here Is Our Report.........tastes like poo!

I don't think we would be employed for very long!

So, I think we will keep robbing OTL for now!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties. The weather here has been very chilly but dry. Sorry to hear you got rained on. Poor Holly chops, she's been thru it the last few days wot with her eye and now her grumblies, we all hope she gets better very soon. Maybe Holly ate the grass because she had that poo food last night and she thought grass would be tastier. Lovely pics again today. Now I wonder who wrote on that thingy. Does Mrs TM know that them ferrets are pinching her glitter? I'm off to the vets tomorrow afternoon to have my check up and vaccination, now I hope they can give it to me tomorrow cos I've had to come off my itchy tablets and I'm a bit itchy but not too bad. I reckon Mrs Sue's idea of woofer food quality controllers is brilliant. They really do need to take into account our thoughts on the taste. If it tastes like poo then it's not right and they need to be told. Hope you all have a good evening, hope Holly's grumblies are gone. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

  2. Good Evening Venerable Taster of Food, I hope the chicken dinner was to your liking, did it need more salt, less salt, slightly more parsley, perhaps a touch of smoked paprika, were the oysters to your taste and the bowl of Bolly, did that wash it all down to perfection. Oh those reports are going to make good reading! I did do Market Research on tinned dog food, I had to find a number of dogs of all sizes and called with lots of food, visited after two weeks and asked questions about what the dogs thought (how quickly or slowly they had attacked the food bowls) etc. etc. Then I left a different version for another two weeks and called back, this went on for two months. I had great fun and the dog minders had great fun too trying to get their dogs to woof on a scale of "woof" for Agree Strongly up to "woof, woof, woof, woof, woof" for Disagree Strongly. I hope Holly is feeling better from what ever she ate, then Archie with his itch and the ferrets with itchy tails, they must do all covered in glitter! The weather has been awful again, I was supposed to go out for a walk but Ian came to lunch and then a friend for a cup of tea and before I knew it the day was all dark and dismal. Tomorrow I hope it will be better then I can go out somewhere, don't know where. xxxxxx
