We're back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Old Two Legs was boring the tail off us this morning telling us all about just how much rain fell yesterday (8.1mm) this week it amounted to 41.7mm!
Yes, all very impressive but that doesn't keep yer tail dry!
The Missus reckons she spotted a frog sitting on one of the lillypad leaves and tried to get a picture using her mobile phone. As soon as she pointed it at the frog he jumped off the leaf and disappeared into the depths of the pond!
Today it has been rather wet outside, not because it was raining but rather the left over puddles from the rain last night!
When we got down the beach we were surprised to see the sea had gone! I mean, like it was there yesterday but this morning, poof, it had gone!

OTL decided that wot the photo needed was a little bit of 'Dramatizing' , so he played about on his computer and made a right mess of it all!

She had to get OTL to pick her up and brush off all the sand from her nose and whiskers!

Next he will be getting out his compass to find 'True North' so he can point the telescope at it when setting up the computer thingy that controls the 'scope!
It's all very 'Technical' but he loves stuff like that!

Afternoon little maties down by the seaside with no sea. Well I wonder who stole your sea. My mum reckons it got sucked up into the clouds and fell all over us here in Hertfordshire. It's been raining here most of the day but it seems to have stopped now, I hope for good! I think there has been nargles in my garden trying to find somewhere to hide from the rain. My frogs seem to have gone away for their summer holidays, I think they got fed up with all the wet cos I haven't seen any since yesterday morning. Poor Freddy, he must have over done the mountain climbing but you need to let him know that he has got his own beds and your bed is your bed! Eric does look very handsome in his photo. Miss May looks like she could do with a shampoo and blow dry to get rid of that sand. Do hope OTL's scope thingy arrives soon, we're all looking forward to his first pictures. Wot a shame that frog didn't hang around for Mrs TM to take its picture. I'm hoping the weather is going to cheer up soon. I've an appointment in the morning to get my butt checked and a weigh in on the scales, now I reckon I'm wasting away here so those scales better not tell porkie pies!! ReplyDeleteA case of disappearing frogs and sea, pity TM wasn't quick enough, maybe next time. I wonder if the telescope has arrived yet, I don't suppose we will be seeing OTL once it gets there, he will be too busy sorting it all out. I hope you have Googled it so that you can give a few pointers! Poor Freddy being so tired that he falls asleep in your bed, just as well that OTL moved him because I don't think you would fit into his. Lovely pictures apart from the sea shots, have a nice sunny evening xxxxxx
