Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!
Now today we travelled over to Essex, (The Dark Side)!
Trouble was, we had to be there by nine, so that means we have to be up terribly early and I don't know about you but I am used to having a poo at the right time and on top of that, I need the sunshine as well!
Why were we over in the Dark Side? The Missus had been invited to do a Master Class for some ladies and she didn't want to drive herself, so Old Two Legs got his instructions and we went along for the ride!
After dropping TM off, we headed down to Southend on Sea beach front, loads of Two Legs walking around eating ice cream!
We moved further down the coast and landed at Shoeburyness where we could park the car without being charged a fortune!
OTL was about to let us off the lead when we saw a load of TL's running around the park!

OTL took a picture of a swan who was all shy and embarrassed about having her picture taken!

Only one small problem, birds can't read!

Before long we went back and collected TM who was well pleased with the Master Class!
Now we are waiting for our chicken dinner and off to bed!

Evening little maties. Wow, you had an exciting day visiting the other side of the river. Did you sniff out any of the sniffs that waft over your way? Lovely photos today. Pleased to hear Mrs TM enjoyed her master class. Sounds good to me that you and Holly chops got a sausage each, I hope it was a jumbo one. I'm confused with TL's why would they want to run round in a circle, I mean you don't get anywhere. That beach doesn't sound good for digging on does it, I mean who wants to hear a loud bang when they get to the bottom of their hole. We had a visitor today who was crafting with my mum, I didn't knick any of their card .... well, maybe just a little bit. Actually I was just being tidy and picking up any stray bits for them. I had to get up very early this morning as well, my mum went to work, usually we have a bit of a lay in on a Saturday, I wasn't very happy at being woke up. I'll be on guard duty tomorrow morning and Monday morning, I mean four early mornings in 4 days is a bit much. I better get an early night tonight to make up for my missing snoozes. ReplyDeleteWell what an adventure you had, absolutely amazing what you saw in Essex and hope TM had an amazing day as well, did they provide cake? Maybe the MOD have forgotten the old signs, glad to hear that you made it back without spending too much on parking. Has TM seen Michael's picture of a horse called Eileen, if not I will get him to repost it as he put it a bit hidden away, silly billy. Do Essex sausages taste better than Kent ones, I wonder! Archie being tidy, well there's a first, good boy. We had rain yesterday evening and over night, the I-pad was flat so that made me late. We sat in the van watching all the fireworks, very pretty and very dry except for the beer and the wine. Hope Sunday goes well, we aren't sure how the showground will be but the sun is shining at the moment. xxxxx x
