Another Warm One!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

You know what?I reckon this has been a great summer so far, well down here in North Kent anyway!

We have had some super mornings and really hot days!

Like this morning, there we were heading down to the Sea Wall and the beach when we just had to stop and look at the gulls on the water and the colours, brilliant!

Yeah, what a morning!
Young Eric was playing on the beach and digging holes in the sand.

Don't fall in my hole, I worked hard to dig that!
We heard a load of woofing and there, along the beach came Dylan and Marley. They had been stuck indoors for the last two weeks 'cos they had been 'Done'!

They said it was just great to be out and in trouble! Trouble? We wouldn't know anything about that 'cos we are good woofers!

Dylan, Marley and Yappy!
Lunchtime it was warm again and OTL took a chance and let Fred and Wendy to come with us.

They had a wander along the beach but didn't stay down for too long 'cos it was warm and not ideal for jogging along the path.

Mind you, we all stopped when Old Two Legs spotted a Silver Studded Blue having a fight with another butterfly.

We couldn't make out what sort it was but it was around the same size. Holly suggested it might be a female!

Trust her!

Did you know butterflies fight?
By the time we got back to the car both ferrets were feeling the heat so they got a long drink from the water bowl and a soaking under the cold tap when we got back!

Wendy didn't think much of that but Freddy said it was just super!

In no time at all they were both fast asleep!

Holly and I had a snooze as well, waking in time to have a bowl of chicken before mugging OTL for some of his dinner!

It don't get much better!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties. It's been quite warm here again today as well. I went out for a walk up to the shop for a cuddle and a treat from Brenda. I met up with Roxy from next door on the way home so we chatted about the sniffs on the way back. Along came Boris the bounce and Roxy said she was going to tear him limb from limb, chew him up and spit him out ......... now I like Boris he's my mate and he looks just like me except much bigger. Roxy's mum had to pick her up. Me and Boris weren't much impressed cos Roxy is a very little woofer and no way could she reach Boris to chew him up. My mum reckons if Boris put his paw on Roxy he'd squash her flat. Well we waited for the ice cream man but he never showed up today, so no ice cream for me or my mum. Loved all the pictures today. I feel a tad sorry for the 2bob boys ........ were they in the water cooling the where their bits used to be? Did you manage to get a dip today? I found a good sniff in the garden today, it was a dried up worm and I had a good roll in it, my mum called me some names and said I was a dirty boy ....... I'm not dirty, I had a bath last month!! Good to hear you're getting decent scoff and I hope OTL had decent scoff for you to mug from him. Have a lovely evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxxx

  2. Just a little note to say, "I am home", very tired with the heat and the journey so having checked with OTL this morning that you had all been behaving I am drinking tea, eating a Digestive Biscuit or two and reading your latest. The water looks good and Eric is getting a Master of hole digging, he will need to set up some Master Classes in hole digging, maybe when TM has the village hall he could use a corner. Marley and Dylan under house arrest being set free is good news and what a pretty butterfly but fancy getting into a fight something you would never do. Off to bed soon so will catch up with the rest tomorrow xxxxxx
