Happy Birthday Miss May!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back with you again!

Yep! Happy Birthday to little Miss May, she is, we think, four years old, plus or minus six months!

May and her sister, April came to live with us a couple of years ago. After we lost April Miss May was joined by Eric de Ferret who has been a great mate for May.

It is a pity that today has been so wet but we managed to get May and Eric out for a run on the beach this morning. We didn't meet anyone but Old Two Legs got chatting to one of his mates, so we all fell asleep on the sand!

We managed to get back home just before the rain started and the wet has continued ever since!

Lunchtime we didn't get a walk 'cos the rain was falling but OTL promised we can go for a wee in the back garden if we get desperate!

May and Eric went off to the vet to get her distemper jab and May decided not to bite the vet 'cos he was only doing his job!

It was the same vet who operated on Eric when he lost his 'Crown Jewels' so Eric was a little wary of him, even when he got picked up and investigated by the vet who says it looks all OK under Eric's tail!!

It has been raining all afternoon, so we still haven't got out and to be honest we would rather not go out and get wet!

We have been playing games with Eric and May and Holly has even stopped woofing at her, just for today!

So, if you are all ready, we are all going to join in together with the 'Miss May's Happy Birthday' song!

Ready?

On the count of four............One, Three, Four!

Happy Birthday Miss May,
Another Poo on the way,
Please don't bite my bum,
Happy Birthday Miss May!

We have been playing around on Google Translate and managed to sing that to her in 'Ferret Language' which is a little difficult for us woofers and almost impossible for OTL!

May was rolling on her back laughing her tail off when we all sang it to her first of all and she has been asking us to sing it again and again all day!

She says our 'Ferret' is better than English!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties and happy birthday Miss May. Well I'm glad all was well under Eric's tail. It has been a horrible rainy day today and I decided I didn't want to go out at all, not even for a wee but my mum made me, she tricked me, she told me there were frogs in the garden, so out I went and got wetted for nothing cos the frogs were all hiding somewhere dry. I'm not falling for that trick again. Now a little bird told me that Mrs TM woke you all up this morning with the electric broomstick. I'm going to have an early night tonight because I've been on guard duty this afternoon and it has worn me out. Hope you all get some good muggings tonight to celebrate Miss May's birthday with. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (worn out) Arch and Mr (he lies, he snoozed all afternoon) Nipper xxxxxxxxx

What a wet sploshy day you've had. Today is the day you should be up here as It's our first sunny day in ages and we finally got to play dig and whizz in the garden. Mum took me Hamish and Bella for our walk this morning. It was a much shorter and slower walk but it was great to have her back with us. Love, licks sniffs and woods from Izzy and the Gang xxxxxx

  3. Happy birthday dear Miss May hope you enjoy your ferret cake. It certainly has been wet today and it seems that while a dry Daisy likes to get wet in the water it is another thing when the wet comes downwards. Good trip to the vet not too much damage done, so that is good news about Izzy's mum and even the weather is kind to them. I didn't go out today because I didn't want the car to get wet but tomorrow I must go out, maybe it will be dry. xxxxx
