It's alway good to have a ferret helping you!

Yo! Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Now, you know just how inquisitive a ferret can be?

Did you also know that they can get into loads of trouble by being inquisitive?

Did you know just how helpful a ferret can be when they put their mind to it?

Well, today it was Eric's turn to show how he can help Old Two Legs.

It was breakfast time in our household and Holly and I were finishing off our snooze on the bed while The Missus was downstairs sorting out the washing.

OTL had got his breakfast and some Lactose Free milk for the ferrets. Little Miss May was ferreting around looking for the Ferretone and a couple of bits of chicken treats they have every morning.

OTL was attacking his bowl of Rabbit Food when he heard an unusual noise coming from under the work top.

Looking over the top of his bowl he saw...................................

Eric!
Just what are you doing? Says OTL. As if he couldn't see what Eric was doing!

Just getting out a bit of Cat Litter for our cage!
Then, back goes Eric into the bag and proceeds to dig out even more of the wood chippings all over the place!

Not only was Eric being very helpful but he was having a great time digging in the bag as well!

Hey! It tickles when it falls down onto my tummy!
Miss May was on top of the worktop finishing off the chicken treats and the last lick of Ferretone!

She looked at OTL and said........ 'One Day He'll Grow Up!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Afternoon little maties. Now why can't these TL's appreciate it when us 4L's help them out. Well done Eric, you're a little star to help out. See now when I help out I usually end up getting told off ......... I'm very good at taking the throws off the sofas, pulling the sheet off the bed, pulling the duvet cover off the duvet. Is it appreciated? Is it heck! Those pictures of Eric getting into help mode were good. If the ferrets have an accident it will be soaked up by the chippings so the carpet is safe, see ....... well done little Eric. Did you and Holly chops get to do anything nice today? Hope you managed a nice walk and dig on the beach. I went to the vets this morning for my medication review and a butt check. The vet is very pleased with me (why wouldn't she be, I mean my mum pays for them to have cuddles with me) My mums purse is crying a bit cos it's a bit sore but the insurance company will soon cough up anyways. Now while I was waiting in the waiting room some nasty woofer tried to have a taste of my cheek, I moved so fast it didn't get me and it wouldn't dare come near me sitting on my mums lap cos my mum would have sorted it out. My mum cuddled me while I had my afternoon snooze, she said she didn't get a siesta cos I was snoring and dreaming so loudly. Did I tell you my boy is off for 2 weeks now so he can amuse me when my mum goes to work and when I feel like a game of football. Well I'm off for my early evening snooze now so have a lovely evening and hope you get some decent muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (do I look like I taste like chicken) Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

  2. Oh what lovely pictures of dear sweet Eric doing his best to help out while OTL was eating breakfast, how thoughtful. I hope you enjoyed the Tuesday sunshine, we have been getting ready so if I disappear a bit don't worry too much, I am going to see what that Essex looks like close up instead of from your beach. Expecting some aeroplanes over the sea so we shall have to see what happens. Glad that little Archie survived the vets today in more ways than one, how dare some woofer try to have a nibble, horable. xxxxxx
