It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!
Well, we can feel that Autumn is really on it's way. It was chilly when we went out this morning and although the wind wasn't too bad, it still made us shiver first thing!
The ferrets, May and Eric, kept pestering Old Two Legs for a carry and a snuggle in his arms!
Miss May normally doesn't mind the cold but like all ferrets, she has to get started! You see ferrets have no way of controlling their body temperature, so when they wake up, the spend some time shivering to warm themselves up. In the summer when it's hot they find some cool spot and fall asleep!
This time of the year they spend time shivering or snuggling up to OTL!
Holly and I just have to run up and down the beach a couple of times and we are up to speed and warm enough!
Now, you know I have been told that I'm getting a 'Wash & Hair Cut' this weekend? Well, I have decided that if I am going to get wet and shampooed and scrubbed, I might as well get in a state where there will be something to wash off!
So I have started to find all the sniffs that really pong and have a good roll in them!
Of course, Holly Chops says she wouldn't have a roll until next week 'cos she is just too beautiful to get grubby!
I mean, wot a TART!

Tomorrow we may get delivery of the 'Blaster' so that should be fun! You can bet that OTL will want to try it out, just to make sure it works properly!
The nail clippers and new head for the electric clippers should arrive at the same time, so, guess who will be playing with his new toys!
We are off now to see what is for dinner, with a bit of luck it will be steak and chips with onions and mushrooms, or, if we are not lucky, cheese salad!

Evening little maties. Yep you're right Daisy, autumn is definitely here, my mum even put the heating on when she went for her bath this morning. We went for a walk up the shops this morning, we met up with Sonia who lives opposite and I got lots of cuddles, then we went in the shop and I got treats and cuddles from Brenda, I love Brenda. My mums been doing little jobs around the house today, mainly finding drafts and seeing wot she can do to stop them. I've been following her round and helping to clear up anything she's dropped. Like bits of tape and bits of bubble wrap. Smashing pictures again today. Now I say, that Freddie is becoming a bit of a wuss, all this carrying lark. Tell him, his legs will drop off if he don't use them. Well done you for making sure that OTL gets put thru his paces when he comes to grooming you this week. No point in him bathing a clean woofer is there. I wonder if he'll make you wet tomorrow to see if his new blaster works? hmmmmm. Steak and chips sound good to me, my mum had a bit of steak last night but I could only sniff it while it was cooking. Paws crossed that OTL gets his steak tonight so you and Holly can mug a bit. ReplyDeleteSorry Daisy but we had steak tonight and I forgot to save you some, mind you it was covered with stuck on mustard seeds so you probably wouldn't have liked it! Definitely Autumn chill about the ferrets have the right idea why walk in the chill when you can be carried in the warm. Are you going to lay wait for the delivery man and sort of redirect him to the next road, tell him that they have moved! What a good idea to get OTL really trained up in this woofer washing lark by getting all dirty and smellie beforehand, as you say no point in washing a clean woofer afterall how will he know he has washed you properly if you look the same. Will this hair blaster be as load as the turbo charged broomstick, my my, they can have a competition to see who makes the most noise, better check when the neighbours are out, second thoughts better check when the surrounding roads are clear. Archie has been getting lots of cuddles today and the ferrets lots of warming cuddles while you two have to dash up and down to get warm 😠ðŸ˜. Hope you found a little morsel of steak xxxxxx
