You will be pleased to know that last night we all had a good nights sleep.
No Star Gazing!
This morning was just super down on the Sea Wall, almost no wind, in fact it was rather pushing it to call it a breeze!

Holly and I had fun on the beach, I dug a hole while Holly decided to do some sun bathing, only the sun wasn't out and all she got was a sandy nose and stern words from OTL for getting sand near to her eyes!

Back home we could sniff chicken cooking so we were in a good mood, especially as yesterday it was Doggy Scoff!
Lunchtime down on the beach Miss Wendy beat us to the hole and she set about making it into a Ferret Hole that she could curl up and have a snooze!

Holly and I decided that it would be too boring just sitting in the car while he had all the fun!
Mind you, we had some fun searching under the sofa for the biscuits the ferrets left behind this morning!
Looking at the sky, all we can see is cloud, so I don't think OTL will be Star Gazing tonight!

So maybe another good nights undisturbed sleep with no stars or cats to worry about. Fancy OTL getting too dressed up for the cold, here we have a problem, he could take TM out as well to carry his coat if he gets hot or to carry the coat in case it gets too chilly but a second problem there is that TM won't agree to such a thing. That ferret looks very ferret shaped and just right to sleep in, such a pity having to leave it behind as I don't suppose it will still be there. It looked lovely on the beach with it being so calm and I hope you manage to get a few good days as well as nights. Keep warm and not too hot, did you get chicken dinner today that was being cooked, was it for you? xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteYo maties. Wot a busy day you've had digging holes, it was a good job you got a decent nights sleep last night. Now, my mum has posted off something today so don't bark at the postman if it arrives tomorrow or Friday and make sure it gets put up high out of the way of the ferrets or they'll be nicking things wot ain't for them. They're not for ferrets because they're for woofers!!! And I know your ferrets are honorary woofers but they're not born and bred woofers like wot we are. My boy was snoozing with me this afternoon cos he was off work today and so I let him do the guard duty this afternoon when my mum went to work, mind, he isn't very good, I mean when you're on guard duty you're supposed to have one eye open just a little bit. I need to give him more lessons but at least he's learned that I have to go on the inside of the sofa when we're snoozing so that he falls off instead of me. It's been quite a cold day here and it's starting to drizzle now as well so I'm planning on staying inside in the warm for the rest of this evening. Loved the pictures today. Shame OTL has managed to get any pictures of the stars just yet but I'm sure he will get some soon.
