It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret again!
Well, you can see that November is here, yesterday it was rain and today it is windy! Actually it wasn't too bad and had fun on the beach and even got the ferrets to have a run as well!
Remember yesterday we were talking about the sunrise? Now, this morning Old Two Legs looked out of the window and saw the sun poke it's nose over the horizon. It was a deep red sky with a blaze of orange over the top. If we were down on the beach we reckon it would have been a complete sky full of red!
The only problem was, OTL hadn't even put his socks on and he hadn't even had his shower!
So, by the time we got down to the beach the sun was well up in the sky. Now when OTL takes a picture he 'Samples' the sky by pointing the camera at different parts of the sky, somewhere where it's dark and somewhere where it's light and that could completely change the picture!
Let me show you.
Now in this one OTL 'Sampled' the sky where the sun was just poking through, that white lump in the middle of the sky.
What it has done is to tell the camera that everything else takes it reflectivity setting from that spot.
It looks early in the morning. |
Back to a Wishy Washy sky! |
Not that we were really interested, we were having fun digging holes in the sand!
Me, digging my own hole! |
This afternoon OTL was off delivering again so Holly and I spent our time snoozing and watching out of the bedroom window waiting for him to return!
We had a delivery today of some more equipment to get the 'Dehydrator' working and The Missus has started reading the recipe book OTL ordered on-line.
Holly and I are looking forward to some dried chicken or beef while OTL has dried fruit to look forward to!
Mind you, there is also Beef Jerky recipes in the book, so he might get lucky!
I'll let you know how it goes!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well that picture taking lark sure sounds technical. I don't think I'd be too good at it but I am good a looking at pictures and I like wot I saw today down on your beach, OTL is very clever. It's been so cold here today, my mum has got the heating on and she has a bit cardi on and still has a blanket thing round her shoulders. I think she got cold working out in the garden, getting all the leaves up and it's going to take a bit of time for her to thaw out. I stayed in and snoozed while she was working but I did go and inspect when she finished, just to make sure she did a good job. We all watch Star Trek this morning and I'm happy to say there were no monsters or nargles in it. How come you didn't do your woofer delivery service today? Mind it has been so cold I'm glad to stay in doors. Poor Eric, fancy May not sharing her hole with him. All this talk of these treats you're going to make are making my mouth water. Hope you all have a lovely evening with some nice muggings and hope it's a bit warmer tomorrow, I'm on guard duty first thing then I'll be snuggling up to my mum when she gets home. I hear little Tommy is fine now and back to his normal self, so paws crossed he doesn't hurt himself again. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteWell your Diary is becoming very technical, we already know about woofer grooming and the necessary equipment, we are having photography lessons and are about to embark on a dehydration course. You are very clever to know all this. Michael said he had picked up the leaves on Monday but I have found some he missed, he is not very good at leaf picking, can OTL give him some lessons, maybe a personal demonstration, if he could pop over for an hour or two to show Michael! I hope that Hollys eye is alright after the other day and good new from Archie about Tommy. You need to go down to the beach earlier then you can wait for the sun to wake up! Never thought of that I bet xxxxxx
