Snow? Wot Snow?

Yo1 Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

Hey! We were told it was going to get very cold and all manner of nasty's were going to happen to the weather.

Wot did we get?

A cold wind!

I mean, we were looking forward to rolling the ferrets in the snow and throwing Snow Balls at Old Two Legs and of course eating some of the snow, but not the yellow snow!

Clouds with sunshine poking through the clouds and a bit of a draught!

OTL has been busy today delivering stuff and having 'Meetings' and generally doing boring stuff!

Holly got into trouble, you see, OTL went out and left us to look after the place. Being such good guard dogs, Holly and I spotted a cat walking across the front of the house and we both jumped up at the window, unfortunately there was a net curtain between us and the window and Holly's claw got caught in the curtain and managed to tear it a bit, well, maybe a bit more than a bit, a big tear!

The Missus was not happy and told Holly off! Then, when OTL got back, she told him off as well!

It's good news that Archie Babes Grumbly Tum has got better. That Pro-Kolin is magic stuff, sets like concrete and dries in double quick time! Mind you, you have to be careful 'cos if you have too much you might explode!

Now, that would be messy!

Hey! Did you know that tomorrow is officially the First Day of Winter!

We have got our Flying Jackets ready in case the wind gets any colder and OTL is searching for his gloves.

The ferrets all have super fluffy coats but they still show off about going out in the wind! Holly and I reckon that they would rather stay in doors rampaging around the house instead of getting a cold blast up their tails!

It's OK for them, just think about us then, we are due for a trim soon, in time for Christmas and there is nothing worse than a cold wind blowing the wrong way when you got a 'Short Back and Sides'!

OTL is still on the salads and cold meat diet, so far he has lost 5Kg but he doesn't look any slimmer, his belly still sticks out and Holly says that it is bigger than Freddy's and Freddy is supposed to have a big tummy!

See you tomorrow, if we survive, Doggy Scoff again!

One good thing about tomorrow, we can open the first door on out Advent Calender, tasty or wot!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo little maties. Well we got some snow today, just as I was coming out of the groomers we saw flakes falling, wot with that and the wind and my short back and sides I was frozen. It's trying to snow here again now, I've just been for a wee and my mum reckons I just broke the land speed record for getting out in the garden, weeing and getting back inside. I'll have to tell my mum about the advent calendar cos I don't think she's taken the wrong treats out and put the right treats in just yet. If I was you and Holly chops, I'd bat my eyelashes at OTL and tell him it's far too cold for a bath and trim. My boy has just gone for a walk to burn off some calories so he can have a take away tonight and he asked me if I wanted to go ....... I just snuggled further down the sofa under a throw. My boy has lost 6 inches off his waist and 2 stones. He does calorie counting cos he don't like salad. He's going to have pizza tonight. I don't blame the ferrets for not wanting to go out, there's a real cold wind blowing. Poor Holly, fancy getting told off for guarding the house, if she let a burglar in it would cost a lot more than a new net. See us woofers always get into trouble for doing wot we should do and defend our TL's. Tell Holly I send her an extra kiss. Sorry to hear you've got doggie scoff again. Stay warm and snuggly tonight, hope you get some muggings to keep your strength up. Enjoy your treat in the advent calendar and let me know wot it tastes like. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (I got no treats and I've been wetted, soaped and trimmed to an inch of my life) Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxxxxx xx extra for Holly chops

  2. Happy first day of winter and enjoy your doggie advent calendar, I wonder what is behind the first door? Now the net curtain! As Archie pointed out Holly was doing her Guarding job while the master was out and then I thought if her claws were short she wouldn't have given the net a little tear, if they were shorter then the net wouldn't have had a big rip, I rest your case Holly! We were putting things in the van when we saw some big white flakes coming down, they soon stopped and we will wait to see what happens! OTL is doing good with his salads, it will be worth it in the summer when he is on the beach in his teeny weeny polka dotted trunks. Ferrets are really clever just growing thicker coats in the winter and thinning out for summer and I don't blame them for being happier rampaging around the house but they do get some fresh sea air in their little lungs going out and OTL will be sure not to let them get too cold. Hope the doggie scoff turned out better than some you have, you never told us how OTL managed for a week, did he have a try of your food? xxxxxx

  3. Yo maties down south! It's been flippin' freezin' up here today with a cold wind but lovely and dry and sunny. Strange because those on the east of out Penines had lots of blustery snow. Think we were saved by the Penines. Mum has gone back to work but it's only for a few hours and a few days a week until Christmas. She got so tired yesterday that she kept falling asleep on the sofa today. We just cuddled up and made a 6 woofer blanket to keep her warm.
I think that met curtain was very naughty catching itself on Hollys claw then ripping so easily. Poor TM having to mend her curtains
We had some scary visitors today. The woofer next door went out to work at the weekend and brought back some pheasants home for us woofer. The only thing was that they were still in all their feathers. So out came the big knife and mum showed us her butchery skills...boy, I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of her!. Anyway the meat was in the bowl and when she'd finally got all the feathers out of her hair, she told us that there were some nice hearts, livers and kidneys for us. Result!
Hope you all have a good evening. Love , sniffs, wags and licks from Izzy and the gang xxxxx
