Us here again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Well what a knight we have had, yesterday The Missus came back from the village hall complaining about a sore throat and being 'Short of Breath'!
She retired to bed early but by the time we got to bed she was doing that annoying 'Mini Cough'.
That went on most of the night and she kept waking us up!
I think that a cough syrup is on the cards!
So, very early this morning Old Two Legs couldn't stand it and up he gets for him morning shower.
You know, it was so early that the heating hadn't switched on yet!
It's OK about getting up early but it also means we are out before it gets light!
Now a run in the dark is always fun but on the way down to the beach, it started to snow!

Back home we got a rub down to dry off the wet and headed off to the bedroom for a snooze to catch up on our missed sleep!
OTL went into the office and let May and Eric out for a run and while they were taking a break by resting in the travel cage, OTL told them about the quick walk and the lightening quick poo!
Eric was laughing his whiskers off as OTL relayed the tale!

On the way out we noticed that the snow had almost gone, but we sniffed the wind and Holly said there was some more of the white stuff on it's way!
She has got a good nose like that!
Sure enough, half way around the walk, the snow started again!
That was it, home was calling and a nice soft bed!

Yo little maties. Well we got snow, oh did we get snow, it started about 4 this morning and it's just stopped now although the forecast is more snow until 7 tomorrow morning. It's quite deep in my garden and I've got dingleberries hanging from my bits, it's up to my shoulder and I don't like it cos it's WET!!!!! My mum went to work and all the paper boys and girls turned up and did their rounds, now if I was them I'd have stayed tucked up in my warm bed. Our gazebo got flattened by the snow and the branches of the 2 fir trees at the bottom of the garden are touching the ground. I can't find my grass and everyone knows I need my grass to do a wee, I've sniffed all over the garden and it's gone ......... someone's pinched my garden!!!! I don't like it ...... it's WET and I don't do WET!!!!!!! I've decided I'm not going out unless I can't hold on any longer. I hope Mrs TM is feeling better, I know wot it's like when a TL starts coughing in the night, it disturbs your snooze. That Eric is a cheeky chap laughing cos you was out in the cold, make him go out in it. Holly is very clever to be able to forecast the weather, I'm very impressed with wot she knows. My boy is home early from work, his shop shut early so that the staff could all get home before it got dark. Well I'm on guard duty again in the morning and the afternoon then my mum and my boy will both be home on Tuesday and Wednesday. I've just remembered I haven't looked in my advent calendar today, I must go and get my scoff treats. Have a good evening all, tell Mrs TM I hope her cough goes. Stay warm and snuggly. ReplyDeleteWe had snow as well, a case of rain by seven and snow by eight but it melted in time for us going to our Christmas meal in Faversham. It was really nice, Michael had chosen the traditional turkey but I beef cooked in a wellington boot which was better than it sounds. We didn't start the meal until two o'clock and it started snowing again but stopped in time for our leaving for home. I don't do snow so won't mind if it stays away, you had a surprise this morning and fancy being taken out in the dark! Poor little doggies! Hope TM is getting better, she will have to sleep in the caravan if she is going to keep coughing! You are both on hunger rations and with OTL on lettuce you can't be deprived of sleep. Poor Archie needs an indoor garden as well, I don't know what we are going to do about that either! Let's hope we have a green day tomorrow with nice golden sands! xxxxxx
