Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
I don't know what it is like your end of the world but we are getting to realise that Winter is really here! I mean, we are sort of in line with the North Sea and any wind coming down there has nothing to bump into until it reaches us!
This morning it looked like it might be mild outside, like, no ice, no frost and the trees gently swaying in the wind.
Holly and I were well up for a run but Old Two Legs made us wear our 'Flying Jackets' as if!
Then he opened the front door................WHAT?
It was Cold and Damp!
It was more than cold, it was Woofin' Cold!
It's a good job we have a heater in the car!
We didn't hang about on the walk but it was OTL who was dragging his tail, taking photo's of the sunrise. It seems that the colour capture on this new box of bits is better than the old camera!

When we got down to the beach, the sun was just over Sheerness so OTL rattled off a couple of shots before shouting to me to 'Get Up'! You see with that jacket on I do enjoy a really good roll in the sand especially a sniffy bit of sand!

We made sure the chicken was in the oven before sneaking off for a snooze under OTL's desk.
We had a visit from the accountant geezer and while he and OTL were discussing boring stuff Holly and I had our noses deep in a bowl of chicken!
Our lunchtime walk was equally as fast as the morning walk and OTL made a discovery, it seems that the new camera is not so quick on the auto focusing. He took a picture of Holly and I and the focusing wouldn't keep up with us!
Maybe it was because it was just too cold!
When we stopped at the beach you could tell it just wasn't the day for a swim!

Yo maties. Well wot a clever chap OTL is, them pictures are fabulous. Love the colours in them. You're right Daisy, it is woofing cold. I nearly froze my tail off at 4 when I went out for a wee. I went rushing back in and climbed into my warm snuggly bed and let my mum go off to work. I was very busy guarding this morning, until my mum came home and then we went for a snooze and a snuggle together. I must admit it's a lot nicer to snuggle up to my mum, she keeps me nice and snuggly. My mum took the biscuits from my calendar to work with her this morning and she said most of my woofer mates were smacking their lips but Boris the Bounce turned his nose up at them and waited for the old treats that they give out, well choosy or wot!!!! I'd give my tail for a chance of them treats. Hope your chicken was nice with a crispy skin, just the way you like it. I'm keeping my paws crossed that we don't get snow cos my mum might have trouble finding me if I get caught in a snow drift. I'd better go and make sure my mum isn't burning the scoff. ReplyDeleteWhat pretty colours you found in the sky and what cold beset you when the door opened, I am sitting here on Sunday with it all white outside and I don't like it especially as we are booked to go to Faversham for a dinner this afternoon. Michael tells me that it is going but I shall wait to see!!! Perhaps the accountant geezer thought he was being invited to dinner when he smelt your chicken cooking and glad that you managed to guard it. Did you do your little ger rof woof so he knew where he stood regarding your dinner? Don't go getting all frozen up and hope Sunday turns out sunny xxxxxx
