A Suggly Sunday!

Yo Ho Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

You know, sometimes, just sometimes, you get a really lazy, snugly, warm and comfortable day and today has been one of them!

We went to bed a little later than normal last night, so that means we woke up a little later, well, Old Two Legs Holly and I did!

The Missus was down stairs playing with her inky stuff and being 'creative' well, that's what she calls it, the rest of us calls it 'Mucky'!

OTL had to go out working, so we were down the beach before the sun got up and that means he is playing with his flash light on the camera, it's a bit off putting when you sneak up on a sniff and half way through inspection there is a blinding flash of light that scares the sniff off!

If he keeps flashing that thing I'll bury it in the sand!
By the time we got home the sun had just poked its head above the horizon but not through the clouds but that was OK 'cos we were snuggled up in the duvet on the bed, all warm and snugly again!

Off went OTL and a little later off went TM!

It was back to snooze an' snuggles until OTL got back.

Of course, we were awake by then and itching to go out for the lunchtime stroll. Today Eric and May came with us 'cos it was warm and sunny and dry!

They hadn't been out for a while and really enjoyed the beach, especially May who was digging holes all over the place!

Come on! There's a Nargle sticking out of that hole!
Being a Sunday, there were loads of new woofers all over the place, so OTL had to keep a sharp look out for woofers on the loose who might take a fancy to a ferret lunch!

Now, because he was keeping watch he couldn't play with his camera, so the quantity of photos was well down, we had just four to choose from for the blog!

Out to sea there was a ship that was drifting around in circles just below low tide mark and we couldn't work out what it was doing. A tug passed close by but didn't stop, so it couldn't have been in too much trouble!

Just going for a Sunday Spin?
Young Eric enjoyed the run across the football field, it's a route back to the car he has never taken so he spotted the car and he and May had a race back, stopping only at the mole hill to have a dig!

Back home OTL did his little bit of work and then came down stairs to watch a bit of TV, there was some super chicken in our bowls and I was 'nose down and tail up' until it had all gone!

Holly didn't touch hers, I think she has a Grumble Tum starting, she gets like that plus the eating grass didn't help!

After that meal I got a teeth cleaning chew and jumped up onto OTL's chair and snuggled up close to him and we both fell asleep!

That's the sort of snuggles I love, all warm and cosy and a chew waiting for when I wake up!

OTL's off tomorrow morning, working again but has promised to take Holly and I out first. That means we will be walking in the dark again and if things go as normal, Holly will have the 'Grubby Bum' which means she will get a wash with the Baby Wipes before a wash an' brush up at home!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Is suggly a word, if it isn't then it should be! Out in the dark again you all need those head light things to see where you are going so you don't trip over each other. OTL can be forgiven for the lack of photos we wouldn't want anything bad happening while he was distracted. We have been busy sorting things out again that we did know we had, problem is if you don't know you have it then you haven't missed and don't have anywhere to put it except in a pile hidden away until next time, Fine on TM and her creativeness and inkyness she can be forgiven being left in charge and having time to cook chicken that was lovely. You seem to have had a very snoozy Sunday maybe you can sneak a cuddly Monday when OTL comes home from work. xxxxxx

  2. Yo maties. Sounds like you've had the perfect day. I've had a super snuggly day here. My mum came home from work and did a little bit of work here then we both snuggled up on the sofa with a blanket and got well snuggled down and snoozed. My mum snuggles me up tight and I just fall fast asleep. We've had a very lazy day but my boy went out walking for a couple of hours because he wanted to have pizza for his dinner, I'm glad he didn't take me with him cos it was very cold here again. I hope Holly doesn't get the grumblies, paws crossed for her. Pleased to hear you enjoyed your chicken. I'm off to bed soon because I'm up early again tomorrow, then I've got 3 days of layins to look forward to. Have a nice snuggly evening, the forecast for tomorrow is rain and cold again. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxx p.s. the photos were lovely. x
