Snow, Rain and Sleet!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

At last, we got some snow today, not a lot and it didn't settle and it was mostly just wet and cold, however, it snowed!

First thing this morning there was no sign of any thing wet, in fact it was rather dry and we could see some red in the sky underneath all the clouds.

A 'Morning Glow'!
Holly and I were chasing up and down the beach while Old Two Legs was watching the sky and saying that there was going to be a 'Magnificiant Sunrise', if we were lucky!

Now, not that we didn't believe him but as young Miss May says, 'Red sky in the Dawning, Ferrets take Warning'!

Then it happened, pow! The whole sky turned red, except for the grey and black bits!

Getting all warmed up!
The best bit was when the sky looked like it was about to burst into flames!

We all stood there going WOW!

WOW!
Then, suddenly, it all went out, like you had turned the lights out, it was all back to being cold , grey and black!

Back home it was the normal business, OTL shovelling Ferret Poo while the ferrets robbed him of slurps of Ferretone!

Eric was trying all sorts of tricks to get more Ferretone. After slurping the cap dry, he left the bottle and ran over to OTL and started licking his fingers. If that didn't work he would climb into OTL's arm and roll onto his back then as OTL put his nose close, Eric would start licking for all he was worth! OTL would end up with a Ferret Licked Nose, Chin, Cheek and Forehead!

Then Eric got some Ferretone!

That was hard work and my tongue is almost worn out!
Now, you remember little Boo, she had some puppies who are now seven weeks old and their Two Legs took some photo's of them with their mum!

Boo with her babies!
OK, all together .........................Aaaaaaaaaaah!

Mummy and puppies are doing well and Holly Chops has given them names......let me introduce you to...........

Wee and Poo!
Holly reckons that our ferrets are bigger than them, mind you, the ferrets don't woof like wot they do!

Good to see that Izzy and The Mob have survived the snow, lets hope they survive the cold after having their hair cut!

It won't be long before Spring is here with a bang!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Cor, I never seen a sky like the one you saw this morning. It was just black here. Mind you about 8.30 this morning it started snowing. My mum had to walk home from work in the snow and she was really cold when she got home, so I snuggled up with her on the sofa under a blanket. It's raining here now, still very cold but it is washing away the snow and we hope that we don't get anymore thank you. I think Holly chose good names for them puppies, she's very clever to think up names. That Eric sounds like a right daddies boy, good job he didn't nip OTL's nose or he might not have got more ferretone. Hope the weather is a bit warmer tomorrow, we've a local forecast of more snow although the telly forecast says we won't get any. We don't want anymore. My grumbly tum is feeling much better today. Smashing pictures again today, and them little puppies, well, aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh. Have a lovely warm and snuggly eveing and hope you get some good muggings. Good to hear all is well with Izzy and the gang. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. What an amazing sky, you were so lucky to see it but what a shame it went out! That Eric knows how to work magic with getting Ferretone perhaps he could give you lessons so that you can work magic with TM to get proper scoff. Beautiful puppies but although Archie might think Wee and Poo are ideal names I don't see any TLs calling "Poo, Poo, come here to Daddy". She does get some funny ideas sometimes. Glad the puppies are well and also Izzy and hers. We had a good day with Daisy Girl but didn't go out in the snow flurries and rain, instead she danced and got Michael to film her on her tablet to take home, we had waffles with maple syrup and squirty cream for elevenses, cheese baguette for lunch and roast turkey and apple crumble for dinner before taking to give her back to her daddy, we might be over to you tomorrow for dinner, second thoughts, you will be serving lettuce with doggie scoff so we will find somewhere else. xxxxxx
