Spring is here!

Yo! Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

I don't know about you lot but we had a super snooze last night. The Missus stayed awake an hour beyond her normal bed time and Old Two Legs had a slurp of Single Malt!

OTL loves single malt and it always makes him very 'relaxed'! In fact, so relaxed that he was snoring most of the night!

Holly and I always sleep well and if the snoring gets too bad we both jump off the bed and head to the office where our 'Day Beds' are kept and have a snooze in there!

The morning walk was good, we met up with some of the Lads and had a good sniff on the beach.

Ring a Ring of roses, a butt full of noses!
As we were heading off back to the car the sun poked it's head under the clouds and of course, there was OTL clicking away like mad!

Sea Mist to the left, sunshine to the right, not bad?
Back home it was snoozy time again while OTL did his chores then had a game with the ferrets. They all love a game with OTL, sometimes it is 'Chase The Tease' and other times it's 'Tickle My Tummy' or just a cuddle in between raiding the Brambles Biscuits!

OTL is trying to loose a bit of weight 'cos he reckons his tummy is getting too big! Not that we worry too much and as Freddy says, a well proportioned tummy is very 'Manly'!

So, now he has managed to get all temptation out of sight, well that really means that he has finished off all the Choc Chip Cookies and the sweets and the crisps and the Twiglets and all the shortbread!

Now, if he wants a nibble in the afternoon or after dinner he has to nibble at the dried apples or pears that TM has dried in the Dehydrator! Plus he doesn't have a Marmite sandwich at lunchtime but rather a 'Healthy' bowl of freshly made soup from TM's soup maker!

How long he will last is up for grabs at the moment and the only things he is allowed is Blue Cheese and cheese biscuits or a Single Malt! The rest is all Rabbit Food and cold meats!

Poor OTL, he does suffer!

Lunchtime we were out down the beach again and on the way down OTL pointed out the buds beginning to swell on the branches, the first sign of spring!

Look! The first sign of Spring!
Down on the Sea Wall we saw the clouds above Sheerness catching the setting sun. It made a change from a blanket of grey!

Now, we haven't seen that sort of cloud for a little while!
Back home OTL found out that he is working on Sunday and Monday next week so that means there is a possibility that TM will be looking after us woofers and entertaining the ferrets!

Now that should be fun!

See you tomorrow, we got all day with OTL, starving!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Now I want to know the secret of your weather, cos it's been very cold, it's rained and it's been very grey here all day. I think spring is giving us a miss this year. Now this diet of OTL's, the poor chap sounds like he needs some help. My boy has lost more than 2 stones now and he's still eating all the things he likes but he works out how many calories things have in them and then works out how many calories he needs to burn off and then he walks or goes on his cross trainer or runs up and down the stairs until he's burned off all the calories he needs to burn off. My mum and my boy love marmite and they couldn't go without their marmite sarnies. It's been very cold here again today. My mum came home from work and thought she'd get an hours snooze but I had other ideas, then I got tired and decided I needed a snooze so I let her have a snooze for an hour but I made her cuddle me. My mum reckons I was snoring and she woke me up to tell me but I couldn't hear anything so I reckon she was dreaming. We've all had a lazy day cos my boy worked all night so he's been snoozing a bit today. I'm glad you and Holly chops met up with your mates this morning on the beach. Loved all the photos. Sounds like Mrs TM is getting into this cooking lark wot with her dehydratoring stuff and making soup. Is she cooking up some chicken soup for you and Holly chops? Maybe OTL could sneak out to the shop tomorrow and top up his chocolate chip and shortbread stash. Have a lovely evening all, stay warm and snuggly. Make sure Mrs TM takes you for nice walks when OTL is working. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Wonderful, signs of spring, that is really a welcome sight although it was rather chilly when I went out mid morning. What a pity all the Christmas snacks have gone but they lasted three weeks so not bad, we started the Stolen today, there were two but one long gone, try to make it last until Sunday, no we don't need any help. TM is getting very good at soups and dehydration, could she try dehydrating bits of OTL to make him smaller? Lovely pictures again, I can go right in on my I-pad and love looking at the lovely little faces, the beach was full of woofer friends, how super. So OTL is working for that tax man again, good for him, we need someone to pay our pensions, could he just get his pay given to us, think how it would save on paper work. Has that big lump of wood gone yet? Archie is doing well and so is his boy, well done to him. Dinner cooked now off to dish it up, I won't tell you what it is or you will get upset and I don't want that xxxxxx

  3. Greetings our friends in the South. Its's been a sunny spring day up here too today. My mum took her class on a steamer on a really big lake into the mountains and she said it got really cold because they were outside for a few hours and there was snow up high on the mountain tops. She got some really good photos. The children were learning how to take photos of beautiful landscapes and the sun was shining down between the wispy clouds onto the mountainsides.Stunning but frrrreeeezzing! It sounds like TM has got OTL's diet under control with her dehydrator and soup maker. I think my mum would like dried apple snacks. Dad got her a Fitbit for Christmas to help her keep count of her steps and she is trying to do at least 5,000 steps each day, which is a lot considering that she could hardly walk a few months ago. Mum says that Dad is hoping that it will turn her into a Fitbit, but Mum says that he has got a long wait ahead.
You look like you all had a lot of fun on the beach this morning meeting up with your pals and all that butt sniffing.
Have a lots of fun with TM over the weekend, and tell OTL not to work too hard. Love, sniffs, licks and woofs from Izzy and the Gang.
