It's me and the gang again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!
Well, today has not been as exciting as some of the other days, I mean, no Nargles to beat up, no woofers to woof at and the rabbits stayed in their holes in the ground and didn't come out 'cos it was just too cold!
There was a load of frost all over the car this morning and it took longer than normal for it to melt off the windscreen before we could set off for the sea side!
When we got there the sun was getting close to poking it's head over the horizon, but Old Two Legs managed to take a couple of shots.
There you go, sea shore to infinity! |
There is nothing like a colourful merge to set you up for the day! |
Rotten spoilsport will be leaving us woofers in the hands of The Missus! I hope he gives her instructions on how to look after us properly and where we can go for our walks and of course, there is the ferret cages and the poo shovelling!
Of course we will be missing OTL so we need 'Comfort Food' like chicken and beef steaks and Plawn Clackers.
Holly and I will help OTL write a list out!
Lunchtime we woke Freddy and Wendy so they could come out with us for a walk in the sunshine. Mind you, we didn't tell them about the cold wind that was blowing!
They stayed cuddled up in OTL's arms until we all got back to the football field and then it was 'Mole Hunting Time'!
I'm sure someone has wee'd on this one! |
Freddy was interested in the mounds of earth and just so he can tell which one he had investigated, he did a big wee on top of all the mounds.
A ferret needs a lot of wee to mark all these mounds! |
Back home we were resting our paws in the bedroom when we spotted a cat outside looking for a place to have a poo in our front garden!
Well, that was it, no cat is going to poo over our garden and just to let him know, Holly flew at the window woofing her tail off!
Trouble was, she jumped up and managed to get her claws entangled in the net curtain and it sort of ripped a little bit.
Well, actually, it ripped a lot and really wasn't any good as a curtain any more!
TM was not happy, I mean, like, should we just let cats poo over our garden?
You can imagine what she would say if she trod in some cat poo when getting into the car, smelly cat poo everywhere!
Now, I've checked the calendar and tomorrow it's Friday, half day, early closing!
Bye bye for now!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!
Stunning photos with your new camera Ken.
ReplyDeleteIt's the morning light, I prefer it to the sunset!
DeleteYo maties. Loved the pictures, OTL is getting very good at taking super shots of the seashore. Mind I still think the best pictures are the ones with you and Holly chops. Now poor Holly chops, there she is doing her job, guarding the house and stopping cats pooing in the garden so that Mrs TM doesn't get it on her shoes then in the car or the house and wot does she get????????? EARACHE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now come on Mrs TM, just no earache for super guard dog Holly!!!! I think we should all get together and come down and picket your front garden with placards, saying, "No Earache for Holly" Mind, we might just need to wee and poo in the garden if we're there all day. Mrs TM just needs to go shopping for anti tear net curtains or better still, just throw a load of glitter on the glass so that people can't peep in. It's just not on to blame a poor defenceless woofer for badly made net curtains. I bet Freddie and Wendy got a shock when they got out in the cold. Was Freddie trying to tell the mole that those hills are on his territory? I hope you didn't get doggie scoff served up today. I reckon this weather is too cold for nargles to come out. Are you sure OTL can't take you and Holly on his trip up north? Hope OTL writes the menu in big letters so that Mrs TM knows she's not to feed you doggie scoff while he's away. I've had a pretty quiet day today, my mum has been busy but I've just been supervising. She's cleaned the oven then she had to go outside and unblock the drain, someone further up the road has been putting things down it they shouldn't and it caused a blockage, they'll have a blockage if my mum gets hold of them. My mum wasn't amused and I watched from the window to make sure she was doing a good job, it was way too cold for me to go out and supervise. We're close to the end of the count down before Mrs Boy arrives, 2 and a bit more days then she'll be here all ready to cuddle me. Hope you all have a lovely snuggly evening with plenty of muggings. Stay warm and tell Holly chops I hope she isn't too upset. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ---------> xxxxxxx for Holly chops.
ReplyDeleteI hope Holly managed to chase the cat away, afterall it would have been a bad job if the cat still managed to mark your garden as cats property. Good suggestion from Archie to throw glue and glitter at the windows to stop people looking in but there would have to be little gaps so that you and Holly can do guard duty. TM is clever she will think of something or her Crafty lot will come up with a solution, I can only suggest buying Holly some slippers.
ReplyDeleteNow very nice colours and not easy to chose which is best, except you are best ❤️. OTL planning a northern trip with Uncle Alun, how exciting, TM will be beside herself with the poo shovelling, better get OTL to cook you some meals in advance and put in the freezer so you are care for as you would hope, you could always try Oxford or Cambridge Meal Suppliers they might be better than the other people and more of a taste to your pallet! Don't get cold tomorrow, I shan't be able to wave to you this weekend as we are not going to Essex. xxxxxx. ❤️ 😘
