Sunshine, for a little while!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Well, today it's been a day of two halves!

The first half was all grey and dismal! Not that we were dismal, we had a good run about the bedroom and bouncing on the bed, then Old Two Legs got up and took us out for our morning walk!

We missed the sunrise and only caught a brief glimpse of the sun climbing up into the sky!

I know it 'aint much but it is the sun!
Back home again for a snooze after a woof at the postman!

We have heard on the radio that the clocks go forward this weekend so we may just catch a sunrise or two!

Lunchtime the sun was out so at half eleven we headed off to the football field. OTL had the tennis ball with him, the one I like to kill and skin!

He threw it and then kicked it and of course I chased it and then ran off down the field and refused to give it back to OTL!

Down on the sea front we headed for the beach 'cos it was all sunshine and blue skies!

That beach looks inviting!
Normally OTL keeps us off the beach 'cos Holly loves rubbing her face in the sand and that gives her a sore eye which in turn gives OTL a sore wallet!

Today he let her go onto the beach but Holly got all excited and, yes, she nose dived into the sand and ended up with a face full of sand!

I see Sand!
Back to the football field and another game with the ball. This time OTL was teasing me rotten, he pretended to throw it one direction and off I went like a rocket only to find I was chasing fresh air!

I turned around to see him throw the ball in the opposite direction!

He can be so sneaky!

There was the time he pretended to throw it on way and then the other and then in another direction!

That was it, I rushed up to him and jumped up and nearly shoved him over!

Throw the Woofin' Ball or I'll bite your kneecaps!
We had a good game but Holly just sat there watching 'cos here eyes were getting sore!

Back home OTL washed her eyes and got rid of the sand and then he put some more ointment in her eyes to get rid of the soreness!

Tomorrow it's haircutting time, well for Holly anyway!

I'll get OTL to take a photo!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well you've had a lovely day and I've had an awful day. I've been to the groomers and been rubbed, scrubbed, brushed, combed, trimmed and cut. I'm not a happy chappie. I've been looking for things to roll in so that I can get mucky and sniffy again. My mum keeps interfering with all my doings and all I hear is NO!!!!! I'm right fed up with this. Tell Holly chops she has all my sympathy for tomorrow. Hope her eyes aren't too sore, why is it that things that we like to do aren't good for us, it isn't fair. Loved the pictures today. It's been a bit sunny here at times, it was raining first thing this morning though. That OTL is a tease, fancy making you think he'd thrown the ball when he hadn't, that's a bit naughty. Hope you got some decent scoff today. Have a lovely evening and hope you get lots of muggings. Keep your paws crossed for me tomorrow so that this specialist chappie can find some new thing to stop me getting itchy if they take me off my tablets. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Today really has been sunny and warm if you stood in the right place. I am so glad that you didn’t push OTL over or his camera might have got the sand treatment as well and that would have hurt his wallet very, very much, in fact you might not have even had doggie scoff for a week or two and he would be on lettuce rations until Christmas. Archie looked so beautiful in the picture after his groom, is it ok to call a doggie chap beautiful, if not than how about handsome and elegant? Have you missed the big chimney yet, I have seen a series of pictures all made into one of it being detonated in two places and elegantly falling to earth. Now nobody will know where they are because they can’t head for it, you will not just be beleaguered you will be lost. Like the Lost City of Babylon, the Lost Village of Allhallows! Good luck for your grooming at the weekend and I hope Holly hasn’t given herself sore eyes again, she will never learn. She is about as clever as Archie when it comes to looking after themselves. Lovely pictures hope for more tomorrow xxxxxx
