Watching for Pirates and Smugglers!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

We have noticed that there seems to be more container ships heading up the Thames towards the Gateway Project than a few months ago.

The Container Port at Thamesport doesn't seem so busy, there isn't the number of trucks hauling containers across the Hoo Peninsular, maybe they are all going up the Thames to off load?

With all this extra traffic we have seen the customs boat off Grain, waiting just off shore. Today it was parked just beyond the low water mark and mixed with the sun rise it looked rather dramatic!

Keeping an eye open for  smugglers!
Just for a change the rain kept off today but it was still too clod to take the ferrets out for a walk and to be honest, they said they would rather stay indoors having a good rampage!

Rampaging wears you out!
Lunchtime we were back down the sea front and Old Two Legs had brought the tennis ball so we had a game of chase. That is, OTL throws the ball and I run after it, then I run off down the field while OTL chases me trying to get the ball back so he can throw it and I run after it, then I run down the field and.....well you get the idea and it does help him stay fit!

Catch me if you can!
Down on the sea front we saw that the customs ship was still on station. We have seen it in the past, moored at anchor, then, without any warning, suddenly took off and headed out to sea!

Not today, it just sat there watching the ships go past!

Enjoying the afternoon sun!
Back home we spent the afternoon snoozing 'cos OTL was busy getting the orders all packed and down to the carriers.

He is such a busy little OTL!

Let's hope we get some sun over the weekend!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

  1. Woto me hearties. Do you think they might have been fishing on that customs boat? I bet they were. Loved all the pictures today. Poor busy little OTL, still he has to earn enough to keep you all in decent scoff. I went up the shop in between showers. There was a little hairy rat type bozo that kept growling and barking at me, it was on the other side of the road and it kept running in the road even though it was on a lead, my mum thought it was going to get run over cos it's bozo owner didn't seem to want to stop it. Now this particular bozo has been run over before so my mum was quite cross with the owner for letting it run out into the road, some bozos never learn though, four legs and two legs. I saw poor Boris the bounce looking out of his window because his TL's had left him home alone, he did look sad. We've had a busy day, we got up early and my mum went shopping, she came home and packed it away and I got a sneaky peek into the fridge ......... I spied some joints and I don't mean the wacky backy sort either. I've been busy killing my teddies. I don't blame the ferrets for wanting to stay home, it was a tad chilly out, I feel it because of being balded last week. The injection I had last Saturday seems to be working, paws crossed and my mum is pleased and she has her paws crossed. Hope you all have a lovely snuggly evening with some decent muggings. My mum has bought me an Easter treat but she says I will have to wait until Sunday, I think it's some teeth cleaning chews and some tripe sticks, she doesn't know it they will upset me but we're going to try one of the chews on Sunday and see how I go. Do you think my boy will swap his easter egg if I don't like them? Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
