We have a Killer in our garden!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Wot a fun day!

We were up early again this morning 'cos Old Two Legs was hoping to catch the sunrise but although we saw the sun, it wasn't big, nor was it bright!

Ten seconds later it disappeared!
Then he got all interested in a bit of rose bush that was and is now just one branch sticking up in the air!

It's a good sign, one bud and two thorns!

The early bud!
Over on the mud flats we could see the Oyster Catchers poking around in the mud looking for .....worms!

Must not talk with my beak full!
Back in the football field  OTL was throwing the tennis ball and I was chasing it, then I'd run a bit further away and try to kill the ball and strip it's cover off!

Rats, I didn't see him coming!
That was it, back home for a snooze and a bowl of Doggy Scoff!

The Missus was sloshing the glue and glitter all over her creations when out of the corner of her eye she spotted a Sparrow Hawk on the garden fence ripping a mouse apart!

Yep! The Sparrow Hawk sat on the fence and ate the mouse including it's tail!

OTL got the camera out and clicked a few pictures of the bird after the mouse had been devoured!

Eric was trying to climb up OTL's leg to see the bird, so OTL lifted him up and the Sparrow Hawk saw him and you could see what he was thinking!

OK, send the ferret down and I'll eat him as well!
Looking at the bird, we think it is a youngster, maybe last years fledgling and it loves our garden 'cos there is always loads of sparrows and finches hanging around the feeders, instant food source!

Four Ferrets? Sounds like a whole weeks nosh!
We are going to keep an eye open for that bird 'cos we reckon he might get ideas above his station and try eating us!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well how about that, a murderer living in your garden, if I was you and Holly chops I wouldn't be going out there, it might swoop down and try to pinch you. I keep away from things wot eat other things. Poor mouse, not even a little tail left. Loved the pictures today. We had a bit of sun for a little while then it rained. It's all cloudy now but we hope that tomorrow the sun will be back. My mum has been mugged for her blood today but at least she only had to pay for the car park, which made her cry a little bit. Nothing exciting to report from this part of the country today, in fact most days there's nothing interesting to report but me and my mum have been playing with my teddies and my frog, she throws them and then I kill them. Hope you enjoyed your plawn clackers last night. I'm off to have a nose round then kill a teddy or two. Have a lovely evening and hope there are some tasty muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxx
