Keep on with the Pills!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, this morning we heard that Archie Babe is back home with a change of medication, seems he is back on a course of steroid tablets. Now, in our experience Steroid Tablets are easier to take than dustbin lid stuff they normally expect you to chew on!

I mean, have you ever tried a Worming Tablet? Well, let me tell you, it's like trying to chew on a  King Size Pizza made of Concrete!

We were up about thirty minutes late today so it was all rush and tear to get us all out in time!

We left Freddy and Wendy asleep 'cos they said it was too wet on the grass to go prancing about!

Eric enjoys the dew but May always hangs on until we head for home before getting down for a run!

Because of the dew there were loads of spider webs on the ground and a few in the bushes.

Home of a Ground Nesting Spider according to Holly Chops!
Eric was jumping in and out of the spider webs, he thought it great fun!

That's number twenty nine!
I must admit, while Old Two Legs was trying to get Eric out of the grass, I shot off to the beach and had a quick splosh before OTL spotted me!

There was little or no waves it was almost as flat as a mill pond!

The waves were made by the container ships going past several miles off shore, according the Holly Chops!
Back home we retired to our cushions and enjoyed a Bonio followed by a well earned snooze!

Holly preparing for bed!
Holly is one of those woofers that turn around in a circle several times before collapsing down in a heap and of course when she does that she sometimes looses sight of her Bonio!

Me looking guilty having just pinched Holly's Bonio!
Lunchtime we were out again and OTL met up with the man who does all the grass cutting on the sea front. OTL, being OTL, made representations about the grass cutting, saying it was too short 'cos since the grass was cut, he hadn't seen a Lizard or Grass Snake or a Stoat, all of which he has seen before!

The man said that they intended to let it grow up to twelve inches, so he reckons the insects will come back!

They had better or OTL will have more words!

Mind you, letting the grass grow a bit is OK by me, I mean, a girls gotta hide in the grass when she's having a poo!

All our best wishes to Archie Babe, keep on with the pills!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Well Daisy, we're in agreement over the pills, I mean them steroid ones is only tiny so I don't mind taking them out of my mums hand but them dustbin lid, lorry wheels and caravan size tablets are not nice to take and my mum has to push them right down the back of my mouth. I've been allowed to have a bit more scoff today, I'm still not getting as much as I want, I keep complaining and I've lost weight, I'm wasting away here. I didn't have to be stabbed today though, which was good news. My mum took me up to see Brenda at the sweet shop on the way home to cheer me up and I nearly wagged my tail off. Brenda gave me lots and lots of cuddles but she wouldn't give me any treats today, she says when I go back to see her again, if my mum says, I can have a treat then. Now Daisy, fancy pinching Holly chops bonio ...... Mind I know how much some of us woofers like to make sure our bed is just right before we lay down on it, I like to have a dig and a rake, then I like to give my mum lots of kisses, a quick scratch of my ear then I can lay down and snooze. Talking of snoozes, I'm having a few snoozes and my mum cuddles me up to her when I snooze. That Eric is a brave chap, I don't like spider webs cos there might be spiders lurking in them and I don't like spiders, they've got more legs than me. I hope OTL is taking his tape measure to make sure they let that grass grow to the right height before they cut it again. Hope you enjoyed your splosh today. Have a lovely evening all and I hope you get some decent muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Greetings to all my friends in the south. Really sorry that it has been so long since I wrote but mum says that 6 woofers means lots of time spent cuddling, playing fetch, walking, picking up poo and keeping our tummies full. We're really sorry to hear that Archie Babe has been so unwell. You are very brave to to take all those pills the size of dustbin and jugernault wheels. I hope that youare soon well enough to get your treats from Brenda.
Now whats all this talk about spider webs. They look very pretty with all the water droplets on them. Perhaps TL needs to ask for a Eric the Ferret stamp to use instead of her fairies when she does glue & paint slapping. Ithink she could create a masterpiece showing a ferretjumping among those cobwebs in the grass. OTL could be in the background with his tape measure checking how long the grass was. I'd better go now because Genie has jumped on mum's lap for a cuddle so she is struggling to type my words oops, now Bella has jumped up too. It is getting late and we all want our teethchews before bed. Holly is lucky thatshe only has one woofer topinchher Bonio while she gets her bed warmed up...I have 5 woofers although mum keeps a close eye as those young wippersnappers with their sharp yojng teeth, finish theirs off very quickly compared to us oldies. Well I was 5 just last week!
Lots of woofs, sniffs, licks and love from Izzy, Hamish, Bella and The Three Hooligans xxx
