Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!
Not a bad day today, The Missus was off early to go to some 'Craft Fair' at the Kent County Showground'. We have been making guesses on just how much stuff she will come back with and just how big it will be!
We left the ferrets in bed this morning 'cos it was all misty and damp with dew.
We had only just got out of the car when Old Two Legs called out 'Woooosssssh!'
Now that is our secret word for Rabbit!
Holly and I were chasing all over the place but we couldn't find it!
Then we worked out how OTL could see a rabbit while we couldn't.........OTL's got long legs and could see over the bushes!
As seen, over the bushes! |
Look Mum! No Ferrets! |
Spot the missing bit! |
He also found that the mattress on the bed had broken the stitching and the seams were slowly undoing!
So, armed with a curved needle and a roll of white cotton he set about repairing the four splits that were about six inches in length, each!
I must say, I was fascinated, it looked so fiddly and that needle looked wickedly sharp!
If I was him I'd use this Thimble! |
Well, TM should be home soon so we are off to watch for her from the bedroom window!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!
Yo maties. Well it's been a super sunny day here but I've stayed in the shade cos I don't want to get sunburnt. We've had a lazy day here, I didn't make my mum or my boy go shopping or do ironing today, I decided to take a day off and not bother supervising. Loved the pictures today, you and Holly chops look like you're running very fast. Well done to OTL for his repairing job on the mattress. I hope the stitching doesn't burst though when you're all snoozing on it. I bet Mrs TM has a smashing time today and I reckon she'll come home with loads and loads of stash. Hope you get some decent muggings tonight, have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteSo now OTL is taking on sewing as well, he could post a notice in the village that he does dress making and repairing, more pennies for the coffer. You never told us tomorrow what TM bought at the craft show, it was either not enough to speak of or so much that you have been banned from mentioning it. xxxxxx
