The day before The Day

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty Boy!

It has been a right old time today, boxes of stuff for the caravan and boxes of stuff to go in the caravan but not yest 'cos we need it before tomorrow and then of course, boxes of stuff that we will need in the caravan but not until we get there!

The ferrets have had a brilliant game diving in and out of the boxes and Eric, being Eric, dived into the swing top bin to find it empty and couldn't get out. So, there he was calling for Old Two Legs to come and get him out but OTL is out stabbing the nasty weed with a syringe full of weed killer and doesn't hear Eric's calls for help.

Of course The Missus hears them but instead of going sort it out, she calls OTL to 'Come in Quick, she is killing Monty!' So, when OTL comes crashing into the office expecting blood and gut everywhere, what does he fine?

Monty is on the hammock snoring his nose off, Wendy is fast asleep in the cuddle cup dreaming of mayhem and murder!

Then, from the swing top bin comes a plaintive squeak and a panicky scratching of claws on plastic!

OTL lifts the bin and extricates Eric who gives OTL a nip on the hand for not coming to his rescue and earlier!

Later when Wendy and Monty's cage was to be cleaned Monty got the run of the house and could charge around, getting out of Wendy's way and seeing if he could get onto trouble!

It's a ferret thing!

TM had to go into town, so she pinched the car and left us to walk over the football field, which, to be honest was OK 'cos we got to walk down the side of the field where all the corn or wheat was growing. Interesting sniffs but OTL's nose was twitching due to his hay fever!

He is so noisy when he sneezes and makes both Holly and I jump and start woofing, thinking a monster has landed!

Mind you, young Monty does love a good snooze in the hammock, he reckons it is the safest place if Wendy is on the prowl!

Sweet Dreams Little Man, until she wakes up!
Wendy still has a pop at Monty but we have noticed that if he is asleep in the cuddle cup, one of two in the cage, she will look at him and then wander off but not all the time. I wouldn't say she has accepted him yet but let's say we can see some chinks of light in in the tunnel and it's not fire flies!

OTL managed to finish all the nits and declared that he was 'Finished until  we come back!'

That will make him a Happy Puppy, now, all he has to worry about is four ferrets, two dogs and TM!

We may not get to do a blog tomorrow 'cos there is no Wi-Fi on the camp site but we will let you know we have arrived!

Bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty Boy!

  1. Yo maties. Well wot another busy day you've all had. I hope you and Holly chops have checked that everything you need is in the caravan. Good to hear that Miss Wendy hasn't battered little Monty and that it was only Eric in the bin wot was causing the noise. One day he'll learn not to go in there. Fancy nipping poor OTL when he rescued him. Will miss you all until your next blog but as long as we know you're there safely at your first camp site then we'll be happy. Hope you have a pleasant and safe journey with no hold ups. I'll be listening out for you going by and singing your holiday car singing songs. Maybe I'll hear OTL sneezing as well. I expect you'll all be getting an early night tonight so that you can get on the road before all the traffic. Now remember to watch out for nargles and haggis bashers up in Mcscotland. Hope Mrs TM enjoys her workshops, I'm sure the ladies going will be enjoying them and wanting to meet you and Holly chops. Have a very happy holibob all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Hi our Southern friends. Good to hear you're about to begin your northern adventures. We'll wave as you go past but promise not to blow raspberries! We're so glad to hear that Monty is being accepted more and didn't get pounced on today. Our Mum is looking forward to seeing TM soon at her Scottish Masterclass. Our Dad and Hamish will be heading over The Rest and Be Thankful soon. They will be staying very near where you're staying as Dad's mum has a very special birthday on 28th June. Hamish is looking forward to running free on the beaches. We look forward to seeing your photos of you on the beach.
Mum says to take care on your journey up. It has been Gypsy Fair week this week and all the Gypsies will be on the road tomorrow so you had best stand guard in the big car so people know you are descent woofers. Have a safe journey up and we can't wait to hear from you once you get WiFi again. Love, sniffs, woofs and wags from Izzy, Hamidh and the three Hooligans xxxxxxxx
